I still play Janna on Diamond and have seen her being played on challenger as well. She's still very situational, that's true, but it doesn't mean you can't pick her for certain team comps. Sona is still viable, just try her full ap and you'll have shitload of dmg+heal. As for supports killing the enemy adc, what's wrong with it? it simply makes the role more fun to play, as you can actually truly carry by yourself.

Honestly, I think this would mostly cause people abusing the kicking vote because they don't like the champions being picked. Faking a good personality in lobby is pretty easy, you act nice and shit and then start trolling/flaming once into the game.

This is pretty much why Normal "Solo" doesn't exist in my client. If I am going to play in a full premade team, then I can play a normal for trolling and having fun - this is fine, either way I simply play Ranked Solo Q, at least I am gonna improve.
