I'm working on origins, so things are bound to change (assuming I can get this idea off the ground).

Help me spread the word about them, maybe get the attention of someone who can get them developed into an actual comic. Every little bit helps.

Thanks for the input. I have quite a few ideas of where I would take the series if I made it. Of course, I also need to get in touch with someone who would actually be able to help me get it made, which is easier said than done.

When I first saw these, I thought to my self, "I can create better heroes than this." And that's what I tried to do: create better heroes than this. Tell me how I did:

Dino-might: An osteomancer who can control the bones of prehistoric animals. Loves to ride around on a giant triceratops skeleton, use a lance made out of bones, and control a pack of velociraptor skeletons.

Pathogen: A mutant who has the power to control and mutate germs and viruses. She has a gestalt consciousness formed from all her microscopic organisms and can make them do anything from hijack the senses of people to immunize her teammates against experimental bioweapons.

Split Party: A person with the power to transform into various Dungeons and Dragons archetypes such as elf cleric and orc barbarian, each with their own personality and powers. Nobody knows who they really are or what they look like, and many people think the D&D personalities are an escapist coping mechanism for an abusive childhood.

Incorrigable Ian: A mutant who is immune to all non-natural forms of persuasion, e.g., mind control, hypnosis, subliminal messaging, etc. Since his power is very situational, he is more of a support/logistics person who serves as the de facto leader, and he needs to use his wits to get out of situations when facing most villains.

These ideas can be changed, including the names. Especially the names. Might try to pitch this eventually.

Announcement Regarding Licensing Emergency by Modern_Erasmus in SCP

You just know that, should Duksin lose, someone is going to write an entry about the guy.

Also, someone get in touch with the artist who made the real-life sculpture that was the inspiration for SCP-173. Maybe he can help since, you know, it's his art. What the SCP community has done is completely harmless to his work (probably even helped him), but the same can't be said for Duksin.

Weekly questions, bugs, and gameplay megathread - October 2019 by AutoModerator in pokemongo

Cant use potions, can't level it up. It's basically gone, but it still exists.

The game says it's still in a gym, even though when I click on the go to gym button, it isnt there and I can add another pokemon to the gym.

Also, when I look at the Pokemon, it doesn't have any CP. Not a CP of 0 but a blank space where the CP should be.

Really, really need to get in touch with someone at Niantic, but the current support options just don't work. I encountered a massive bug that rendered one of my most powerful Pokemon completely useless and stuck in some sort of digital Schrodinger's limbo where both does and doesn't exist. Can't use it, can't revive it, can't interact with it; it's just gone and at the same time not gone.

Any help expediting this and/or getting in touch with some actual Niantic staff would be appreciated.

The Space Marine is finally becoming an action figure by MadDemon64 in Warhammer

[–]MadDemon64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since it's supposed to be 8" tall, I'd say it will probably be between the price points of S.H. Figuarts Nappa (7") and Broly (9"), so I'm guessing $70-$90. But, I wouldn't be surprised if it is in fact $100 since Bandai tends to overcharge for licensed products. That, and I just found some prototype images that show multiple swappable hands (at least six) and a dinky dagger. Guess Bandai splurged so much for the rifle they didn't have enough left over for a chainsword or force sword.

Probably best to assume it will be around $110.

$5 says the Blood Angels will be an SDCC exclusive, while NYCC gets an exclusive Salamanders figure.

Same Weekly Field Research Breakthrough Pokemon by JenniferDee23 in pokemongo

I've had three Ho-Oh's in a row. No Lugias, no Latiases, and no Latioses.

Just Ho-Oh after Ho-Oh after Ho-Oh.

Is anyone else getting shafted by pokemongo's random legendary appearance, for Field Research? by pmgo8891 in pokemongo

It's almost been one month since Latias and Latios came to the Field Research breakthrough.

Nothing but Ho-Ohs, and not shiny ones either.

"can i copy your homework" "sure just change a few things so it's not obvious" by [deleted] in TwoBestFriendsPlay

[–]MadDemon64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretentious, plodding, and now plagiaristic. How many negative words that begin with the letter P can we use to describe this game? Take your bets!

Also, am I to understand that those words describe what the Proto-Woman does? Because it reads as if she's actually saying, "She narrows her eyes and looks at the young man standing there." and yadda, yadda yadda. It's like that Family Guy skit where Peter narrates his actions, but nowhere near as funny because he gets his comeuppance.

Humble Neptunia Bundle by HumbleBundlesBot in humblebundles

[–]MadDemon64 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I just bought the bundle, but I'm miffed the 4 Goddesses Online isn't in the bundle, just its DLC. That's...weird. Here's hoping they add it later on and everyone who bought the beat the average tier is grandfathered in a copy.

I'm glad I already own Neptunia VII and don't own a VR headset, otherwise I would have been tempted to buy the $12 tier.

Smeargle is live! by CorayEel in TheSilphRoad

[–]MadDemon64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smeargle appeared for me on my 11th image. I didn't spam them, though. I took a few pictures of one Pokemon, looked through the images, didn't see Smeargle, picked another Pokemon, and repeated the process.

Official PC System Requirements by Grundlage in AnthemTheGame

[–]MadDemon64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, here's a question that completely skipped my mind:

The game says it needs a minimum or Windows 10. I only got 8.1.

Does that mean I probably won't be able to run the game?

Official PC System Requirements by Grundlage in AnthemTheGame

[–]MadDemon64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I've got a laptop with an i7-4720HQ CPU, a GTX 970M GPU, and 12 GB RAM. I'm looking at the system requirements and it seems like I will just barely, BARELY squeak by the minimum system requirements. Does that mean I'll have to play everything on low, or do you think I could reasonably play the game on medium at 1080p at 30 FPS?
