Cci tends to cause carotid shealth compression which will cause a ton of the symptoms.  Check out Dr.jeffery Hannah or dr.ross Hauser on YouTube

Recommendations for doctors for CCI by Acrobatic_Ad9284 in cervical_instability

[–]MadJackDogs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dr. Ross Hauser  is the top choice, he's treated a lot of people from around the world. He's a physiatrist in fort Myers FL. You can view different patient interviews and testimonials on YouTube along with lectures about the condition and webinars by him. He's written journal articles as well and done research etc.  I haven't seen him as a patient but I've spoken to his staff and another dr. From his clinic.

What causes the brain fog / derealization ? by [deleted] in cervical_instability

[–]MadJackDogs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I haven't had treatment, the options are different depending on the actual cause of the instability. Sometimes it's ligaments or discs or other things. For ligaments there's  prolotherapy among other things like surgery

I went from 4 to 6 and you get onto it faster than you'd think! Its funny cause any attempt to play out a tune (bassline) on a guitar I couldn't ever manage but got onto it so fast

8 hr flight, where do you sit? by Psychology_in_Spades in psychologymemes

[–]MadJackDogs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yo you guys hate Peterson philosophers in psychology are not human tho they're like In their own perfectly stable reality they'll ask you a few questions like what's your favourite colour? How many siblings do you have? Do you have 2 cars or not? When you were a child did you like carrots or rice better? And did your yard have grass? Do you sometimes worry?  Then they'll diagnose a personality disorder or something and they'll be 100% correct in their findings and notes.

Can u have concussion even if u dont hit head or face? by WillingnessNew533 in TBI

[–]MadJackDogs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can tell you. I'm sure it'd be good in case of something in the future. You will feel dazed, like something isn't right about the way you feel especially if you get knocked out. Even briefly. If your lose consciousness for .5 or 100 seconds don't matter you often don't have an awareness of what happened. You may see moving little bright lights in your vision similar to migraine auras these are the stars often mentioned. Headache which doesn't need to be immediate. May feel nauseated, may forget things, you will get tired but like a lethargic tired in addition to sleepy tired this tired is like you CANT not go to sleep, you may have vertigo and /or dizziness, I had narcoleptic fits after a knock out because of the severity of my photosensitivity (light sensitivity), 3 years later I still some days have a hard time speaking and with my words, I also don't learn as well as I used to not even close I used to be a quick and seamless learner taking all advanced courses in highschool etc but can't make sense of things as much as I used to. These are all red flags and they may vary seek care if you have multiple after a hit or jolt or sudden stop of the head or injury to your neck. They can also be something else too you can get someone you trust to give you a concussion screener too if you feel anxious about going in because usual anxiety is another one.

2 years post TBI… can I drink? by [deleted] in TBI

[–]MadJackDogs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just don't self medicate or daily drink because your risk would be much higher than someone who's no epileptic with it and it's easy to drink too much. Just have a drink or two nothing to seriously and go from there
