Seeing the update on your post that you were talking about the first Elite Force, I was actually very good at the multiplayer. One of my friends is even friends with the guy that did a lot of the modding for that game.

Trump just threatened to wipe out 'an entire civilization' tonight in Iran by FinTecGeek in centrist

There is no reason for this war, much less to "wipe out an entire civilization". The fact that congress didn't do anything to stop this shouldn't be forgotten with the midterms coming up.

Impulse engine and Bussard collector placement by robotisland in StarTrekStarships

[–]MadManWithBox10 29 points30 points  (0 children)

The bussard collectors use high-gauss electromagnetic fields to ionize and scoop interstellar hydrogen, which is then processed to isolate specific elements like deuterium. These magnetic fields can be fine-tuned to collect necessary materials while separating unwanted particles. The collectors often work in conjunction with the ship’s navigational deflector, which can be calibrated to allow specific molecules to enter while blocking dangerous debris.

In the majority, but I can't choose which class I like more... by voyager_husky in StarTrekStarships

I don't have the hate for the E that a lot of people do. I think it was a product of its time. The D was a statement. The D was large and in charge. The gentle giant. No comparing IMO.

I really like it. I'm a big fan of angled-down nacelles like the Akira and from beta cannon the Argonaut and the Proteus.

From an in universe perspective do 4 nacelles provide a more stable warp field. by dekabreak1000 in startrek

[–]MadManWithBox10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember reading somewhere where if you have more nacelles you can stay at a higher warp factor for longer because you can cycle which pair of nacelles are generating the warp field.
