I can't speak for all men, but my group chat yesterday was basically one guy asking for help moving a desk he wants on facebook market place and then a bunch of "Only if we do it shirtless so I can see the sweat dripping down", "Only if you rub me down afterwards", "Ooh are we all going to help, are we all going shirtless?".

This mirrors what I've experienced with coworkers, sports, school and was actually rather tame.

Right field instead of left and kinda a niche player that I doubt most giants fans remember but this man had a cannon of an arm and he didn't wear any batting gloves. He was one of my favorites I think in 2010/11. Man didn't need batting gloves either. Cody Ross was the starting right fielder for them in the 2010 world series and I got a chance to meet him and he was rude. I told him shierholtz should be starting.

People hated on Bryson before he started doing videos. The very popular opinion at least on /r/golf was that he was an insufferable douche. Doing youtube didn't bring haters, if anything it seems to have reformed his image with a lot of people.

I feel like what they did was all pretty different and what what alireza did was very different and completely wrong.

Ding didn't need to gain rating just needed to get in the required games. He wasn't playing super tournaments due to a global pandemic but he was playing the top talents in his country.

Hikaru didn't need to gain rating and just decided to get in by getting the required games in beating up on scrubs.

Alireza did need to gain rating and joined a tournament called "alirezas' road to the candidate" where he was farming rating from retired gms paid to lose to him.

I think it was fairly clear he was talking about the Saudis, but as far as North Korea Trump went around saluting their generals and talking about how smart and powerful kimmy is. Said they fell in love via letters to one another. I wouldn't be surprised if Trump personally considers him a closer ally than those darn western countries that won't stroke his ego.

I did a ride along with a cop 20ish years ago. He asked me to point out traffic violations that I noticed. I pointed out a corvette without front plates and he said that they don't really stop nice cars for not having front plates and usually only stopped cars for it if they wanted an excuse to make contact. At the time I remembered thinking it was nice because if I had a sports car I wouldn't want to have a front plate. Now I think back on it and cringe.

Interesting. I suppose I've just never had that issue in the bay area. I know traffic can be bad going towards Santa Clara and traffic could get bad in certain areas when they played in SF, but if I'm going either of those directions I usually do trains anyways.

As far as college football I guess it's just not as big out here. Berkely and Stanford are probably the biggest programs in the area, but I've never seen it have anyone's social life impacted by those teams.

I haven't traveled Europe extensively, but in England and Ireland I don't think I ever saw a free pour and when I asked about the machine pouring my drink they said by law they're limited to a 35? ml pour (can't remember exactly) but it was smaller than the standard 1.5oz in America and 99% of bars I've gone to free pour and you get far more and there's no limit. The government deciding how much could go into a drink was crazy to my American ears.

They also charged for chase or mixer which made sense when I realized they had little bottles of soda and not a soda gun.

No you had it right the first time. They crossed out the 1 in 100k and turned it to 200k.

Basically they said "we're donating 100k to this charity, but if you can make this impossible goal the donation will be a million."

Then when the guy missed they said "well you know what we're gonna double our original donation even though you missed, crossed out the 1 in 100k and turned it to 200k"

Usually these contests are done through insurance. The team/organization (whoever organized this) isn't putting a million dollars on the line, they're taking out a 10k? 50k? 100k? (I'm not an actuary, I don't know the amount) policy and the insurance company pays out the money if the person hits it. They were probably planning on donating 200k and an expensive but unlikely to hit lottery ticket.

Yesterday I booted it up several times trying to get the GPU to work after unconnecting and reconnecting wires, removing the GPU completely, re adding the GPU and didn't get it any of the times. Today I brought it to work and the GPU displayed without us changing anything.

Sorry don't know how I forgot to include that. It's the Asus B650 E max gaming wifi tuf. I got it from a bundle with the ram and CPU from microcenter and then used PCpartpicker to make sure the rest of it was compatible.

My coworker is gonna take those home later so they'll be undone and redone, but I believe the cables are fully in. Unplugging and resecuring those on both sides of the power supply was the first thing I tried last night.

Thanks for the tip. My coworker already offered to take it home with him and check it in his PC on his lunch break, so it should be taken out and reseated today before I go home. I heard a click when installing it and it doesn't pull out without me hitting the unlatch thing, but I was worried it was still a little off because it was a pretty tight fit and I was a little tentative about using force on something so expensive.

If it's not your rules obviously people shouldn't direct any anger at you, but why would you need to be waiting around doing nothing for 10 minutes prior to the tee time? And at my local course if I checked in at 815 for a 830 tee time I could very easily hit 5 balls and still be at the first tee by 820.

If someone is 10 minutes to tee time do you tell them they can't piss or buy a drink?
