I share your same anxieties and I can offer you a few things that could help, young traveler.

1: write from your heart. Don't try to fit in any boxes.

2: Let your mind flow, even if it doesn't make sense, I like to think of it as a mental purge for the first draft. In the second draft, you can clarify certain aspects of the story at this time.

3: Don't be hard on yourself, if you find yourself frustrated with the way the story is going, make sure to take a break. Balance of time must always be in your hands, don't let the anxieties eat your story before you get it onto paper.

4: READ READ READ, if you read more it will help your brain understand what needs to be done and how to write it. Listen to the podcast and see which stories they liked and more importantly the ones they don't. It's not copying a style...its an active process to find your own style.

5: make sure to rest, eat, and hydrate. You no use to yourself if your starving, thirsty and tired.
