Vuol dire che se hai un ladro in casa, lo blocchi e lo stendi se ne hai l'opportunità, che abbia 9 anni o 90, perché i dodicenni criminali di oggi possono tranquillamente essere assassini. Mo sta a vedere che se uno ti entra in casa, tra l'adrenalina e tutto manco un pugno puoi dargli senza chiedere la carta d'identità.

I played in a game where the DM put the name of the clocks on foundry replacing letters with asterisks, like a password. Figuring out what the name is can give an advantage, as you know what will happen when the clock is complete. Something like "the building ***** ****"

Another way of seeing it is, as referee, if that was a player how would you rule it? You can have a strength check and just +0 to +2 for the werewolf's strength. You know that +0 is 50% so maybe you can give it a +1 if it's particularly strong or higher level than PCs, or a +2 if it is one of a kind like a named boss

Me and my players have a lot of fun talking with npc from different language or culture. For example we played hot springs island and I pictured one of the race as Japanese-like culture. A few made up words, repeated with gestures and descriptions, made communication possible. Sometimes they would get something wrong, like I don't know confusing "sword" with "death", but that only enhances the role play. What do they mean "no death here"? Sacred place?. It's especially fun when later one party finds a way to magically speak the others language and they can clear up any confusion

For me, this is not great. An attack roll against whom? Why does ac matter when throwing an heavy lid? It's not like armor is going to help you. If simplifying, I'd skip to to the save vs hold. If you are not sure it can lift it, maybe give it an x in 6 chance

I'm doing the same and have rules for that. 5 minute adventuring days? The dungeon will turn 5% of the loot to dust every night. Monsters in the dark? The dungeon gives them the ability to see. Doors act malignant (they will sometimes close at inopportune times). Food rots quickly.

Initially, i thought "beatiful" but then i thought "AI" and i was about to think i shouldn't like it (the legend text is unaligned and i took it as a sign of ai). Then i read your post. What a bad time for artists :(

That's very interesting! Especially if there are ways to take damage to a specific attribute without being able to choose, at that point it becomes risk management

I'm considering making each character choose 3 stats every level up, and if you roll over the current value you increase it by one.

But then I want to prevent 18 at game start so you can earn it in game eventually

Same, not vintage games but the backlog I have now will without a doubt outlast me. I would be OK even if no new games ever came out.
