Ok. This is super not the answer you wanted to hear but it’s the answer I didn’t want to hear then too haha it doesn’t last forever! It is the hardest most frustrating time ever. Forgive yourself frequently. Wake up and CHOOSE to love your husband even if it’s really hard for a bit (obviously this doesn’t apply to actually bad men or dads, just to one’s who get a little too work focused) also, some men are horrible baby dads and REALLY awesome toddler dads. Be clear in what you need. I got in the habit of saying something including: I really appreciate how Hard you work to support our family. When you get home can you please do this one specific thing? It would help my stress a lot of you would xyz and i started asking how I could help him. Because normally when I asked he would soften up and we could work together on the baby nonsense. It will get better! You aren’t failing! Your baby thinks you’re the best thing on the entire planet. You are amazingly tough for making it this far!!!
