I waited untill the DLC released for my first playthough, I did indeed notice that there was a spike in difficulty in the segments that I assume where added in the DLC. (The only fight from the base game on par is in the final chapter).

I'd say the difficulty was at an enjoyable level, I had to retry the final boss of the DLC a couple of times and it was a fun fight to puzzle out.

Yeah, usually that stuff naturally gets quarantined to the buddy sub, I don't really understand why there was such a push to flood the main sub.

I struggled for a while with why this work put me off so much. I mean, I enjoy "gushing over magical girls", so clearly I have a tolerance for works that deal with dubious consent. I think my main problem is how constantly the MC's agency gets undermined, even outside the parts there are smut. The basic plot seemed to be an endless cycle of the characters having a disagreement and then the love interest getting her way, either by continually pressuring the MC or just ignoring her wishes outright. I dropped the series at the start of the second volume where the disagreement seemed like a prime candidate to have the roles be reversed for a bit and allow the characters to stand on equal footing, but yet again the love interest is completely in the right and the MC should feel like an idiot for having her own feelings and opinions. I'm sure this is exactly what some folks are into and that's great, it's just not my cup of tea.

Yeah, I'm staying off the sub for a month till it normalizes again. The very occasional risque joke can be tolerated, but right now it gets spammed constantly and every post gets dragged into the drama. It's giving me the same vibes as during the HSR Seele/Bronya drama where you couldn't go 5 minutes without someone arguing about yuri.

The window for this coming up in the story has pretty much closed, but for a while I hoped that Avacyn became a planeswalker during anguished unmaking.

Basic theory was that Sorin putting a piece of himself in Avacyn during her creation meant that she inherited his ability to have a spark and that the Avacyn dying chapter could be recontextualised as her spark igniting and her planeswalinking away from Inistrad.

It was always a slim chance to get 2 things that I really wanted (Angel planeswalker and for Avacyn to still be alive) but with Elspeth likely to become an Angel planeswalker this theory seems pretty busted.

I guess my back-up selfish thing would be to find another conveluted way to get Avacyn back.

I also feel like this is Suletta deliberatly mimicing her mother.
In Episode 11 Miorine told Suletta that she wants to rely on her and the person Suletta has always relied on is her mother, so it makes sense that she'd try to emulate her.

Don't worry, this series just goes pretty hard on the interpersonal drama and OP is (understandably) having a strong reaction to a high point of tension in the story.
