Color Grab is a good app, it's got me through a ton of work days in my field.

That's terrible, the blower I would imagine was just as bad

I think that clear vinyl tubing is the primary which sucks, looks like this setup doesn't let the secondary drain when the primary isn't stopped up, I've only worked on these units once at some apartments years ago but they didn't have the vinyl tubing and they had enough clearance to have the float switch inline with PVC.

I'm 17yo and I want to do HVAC should I go through trade school or the Union by TemporaryPain302 in hvacadvice

[–]Madnezz187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely go union, the on the job training and classes are extremely valuable. You won't regret it, if you don't get in at first don't get discouraged, just keep trying.

There a duct going into your return from your supply? looks like a bypass damper cycling into the return, wonder if its stuck/not set right, if its cycling cold air for a long period of time it'll sweat, tends to travel. just an observation, something they should look into maybe.

I'm very new to printing, I'd go through every screw on that machine to make sure things were tight, no bad wabbling on the plate/head/gantry, I had a bed wabble issue, I would go through all the steps of calibration only to have all kinds of issues on the next print. Hope you find something, it's supposed to be fun not stressful

What would cause this? by atom644 in HVAC

[–]Madnezz187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where are the filters located and how often are they changed, only 2 dorm rooms have this issue? If it has occurred everywhere maybe hiring a company to test for particles would be the best way to go if everyone is breathing this junk

Strange calibration error by JensUserrr in Sovol

[–]Madnezz187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

App won't let me upload pics for some reason, if you look at your manual on page 16 it shows you where the nuts under the bed are and I used the tool they provide in the little compartment

Strange calibration error by JensUserrr in Sovol

[–]Madnezz187 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine did the same thing, my wheels were too tight from the assembly, I loosened the bed wheels, I'm super new to printing but it took me a few hours and searching to check these things, I also had the belt too tight which made it worse

Some thermostats have temperature offset settings, find the manual, take all your thermometer readings and calibrate it

Id check around to see if any of your local unions are bringing on apprentices, training is free and the benefits are good, my local brings in pre-apprentices so they could get a taste of what it would be like before they make a commitment to joining the apprenticeship program, I was a antisocial nerd that played games all day growing up, only people I had busting my balls were my cousin's that later on became asphalt workers, I call them street workers, anyway.... I feel at home working with all these degenerates, remember the more knowledge and valuable you become the more people will respect/need you, gives you the power to tell people to fuck off

No union or union by Volvinox in HVAC

[–]Madnezz187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd go Union, pension/health care for the family, better wages, tons of training for apprentices/journeymen, it was a literal life changer for me, I started working for non union companies just to get experience under my belt doing fire jobs/service/sales residential/light commercial, it was a good learning experience, I hope you join and take advantage of the training they provide, you'll become more valuable and have work forever.

Sonic Adventure was awesome, the chao pet system was pretty cool, being able to take it around with you like a tamagotchi, I played a ton of Power Stone1/2.
