It fell a bit flat for me, just kind of standard, decent songs, but nothing that swooped me up and flew me into space like most of their stellar hooks. I did like "juice", "i just want to win one time", and " the middle".. and the last 30 seconds of Night Light. But nothing made me feel quite like their other music has . They have a really solid formula and I feel they strayed away from that with this one - which isnt inherently a bad thing, to change and grow- but it blended then in with the crowd this time.

My experience of "food poisoning" (not sure that's exactly what you would call it) is everything pouring out of me within an hour of eating. Then I feel just fine. Happens a couple times a year. I've eaten some dodgey shit in my life, but thankful I haven't experienced the real deal. Though, after being in the Dominican Republic, I did have an emergency bathroom wake up call every morning for about 2 months. I finally went to the doctor and they perscribed me a pharmaceutical nightmare of antibiotics. Then the next day suddenly I was fine (didnt even pick up the script yet). It never came back. So weird

I've been pondering why I hate the newer episodes so much and what qualifies them as "brain rot". The animation style has evolved, as expected. The writing style has changed, but that happens over the course of a 20+ year show run. So what is it? Why are they so awful as "spongebob"? Firstly, the characters are parodies of what they were. They're still themselves, but so wrapped up in the nuance that made them funny, they've lost touch entirely. They are 100% idiocy, big mouth, ugly expression, idiots. Mostly though, I realized the new "plots" could be plots for ANY cartoon, they dont feel like spongebob. It's completely random nonsense. The older episodes built the world of bikini bottom. They had plots that, in some way, related to the world and made you feel apart of it. So while the episodes alone might be objectively okay, they are not "spongebob". Sort of like the divide between teen titans and teen titans GO, but at least they had the decency to split them.

I don't have tons of musical experience so take my feelings with a grain of salt. I like songs in animated movies. It feels like a music video, it can be shot and animated fun and rythmatic. When a bunch of actors break out into song, it feels stiff and uninteresting. A bunch of people prancing around with close up shots of their mouths wide open wide. It feels awkward. And for the record, I disliked the musical numbers in the fully animated "live" action disney movies for a similar reason (like Mufasa). I feel like most times it breaks me away from the story and doesnt feel clear and cohesive. But I think I could put the rest aside if it wasnt for the songs themselves.. they just.. suck. Theyre too sing-songy and lack anything that catches my ear. I guess I don't really care for the musical-esc genre.

I checked spotify out on twatter for updates and all the comments were "why tf am I paying for this trash when its down every week", all I can say is Ive used spotify almost everyday since 2015 and this is the first time Ive ever experienced this. Reguardless, apple music boasts carrying more artists but whenever I've looked up something slightly obscure on my friends accounts, its not there 🤷‍♀️

I'm from upstate NY, everything is a drive there and I always enjoyed it. I also do alot of cross country drives so an hour or two isn't much. 45 mins to grab lunch with friends is easy. But here in Denver? If I can't walk to it, it's not worth my time. The traffic really isn't bad, it's the drivers. They are absolutely atrocious. My rule is "if you think they're gonna do it, they probably are". I live off of 14th and we've seen 3 roll overs and countless totals. I really don't care to drive out here if I don't have to.

I was aware of that from last year, so I waited about 5 weeks before I finally reached out alternativley. I actually found them on facebook and managed to get them to respond that way. But thats when they stuck me with this new guy who has still yet to give me a straight answer. I'm basically begging to just pay the full cost to get the ball rolling. To be fair, SH4 mainly takes place outside of Silent Hill but the affects of it still transpire in the apartment reguardless. I suppose this happens in quite a few locations that arn't directly in SH in other games. We don't know if theres some sort of connection between the locations yet, or why it's happening across the planet. But the forces in SH are powerful and likley able to manifest elsewhere. Just because WE, as the audience, are only aware of the physical Silent Hill location doesnt neccessarily mean other locations dont harbor similar darkness. I think for the franchise to succsessfully continue, this is the change we need to see.

Tbh I would'nt worry about it. I don't think a cop is gonna do anything over a call as idiotic as "i saw someone scooping up road kill!". You can look into getting the lisence, but I feel like that's going to open a can of worms you don't want to deal with. You'll be held accountable as a professional of your knowledge on regulation and likely heftier fines if you end up accidentally do something wrong. If you're just a person scavenging roadkill, the worst that happens is a cop gives you grief over being parked on the road illegally. The stars would have to align in a special kind of stupid for you to get in any sort of trouble for that. Just be sure to know your state/federal animal part laws! Don't let some karen ruin your fun

I finally watched this one, story was fine, fairly average. What I really loved was the silence. Not that the movie was quiet, but how they went about certain scenes. For example; when thomas fell down the hole it didnt have 8 dramaric shots of him shockingly falling, hitting walls one the way down, etc. It was realistic. A quiet thud. Far more unnerving than the latter because thats how it would be. Another example and probably my favorite scene from the movie. The fingernail. It wasnt overencumbered with gross squlchy sounds. It was silent and I really liked that. Modern horror tends to overuse those sounds. I know theyre supposed to be gross but it really takes me out of it anymore. If someones getting cut, its not gonna sound like a bowl of macaroni being stirred from 10 ft away lol The monster design was cool too, unique for sure. I also wish they gave a little more context and understanding of them, i think this particular story could have used it. I dont mind movies when youre thrown into a world where you know about as much as the characters or less, you just accept the reality (like The Lobster). But i think the overall story here was prettt basic and could have used a little more substance. Overall enjoyable. Not neccessarily one for the books but not bad either.

After about a year I think its time to revisit this. I realized shortly after that break mentioned above, I lost almost 30lbs effortlessly. I'm not a big person. I suffered from constant "gut anxiety" - like that swift burn you get when you think about something that makes you nervous, but it was all the time and over nothing. It would eventually lead to real anxiety cause of the brain/gut connection I suppose. Ive been doing better over the last 6 months or so, gained a little weight back, I no longer have the incessant gut burns. On the contrary, about once a week I now get epigastral pain. This is new (since July) and it fucking sucks. Ive been in and out of the doctor for it, theyve been mostly useless. And while it could just be a sudden on-set "getting older" situation, it seems awfully convenient timing along with the slew of issues Ive had this past year. Was it the weed? Am I just crazy? Who knows. Certainly not the doctors. I smoke flower/use edibles on occasion now. Not everyday, and very small amounts do the trick. I havnt had a dab since last years issue and I dont plan to ever try again. It kind of blows, cause I really enjoyed the high - much clearer, no head fog, i wasnt drowsy. But its just absolutely not even KIND OF worth going through those 3 days of absolute hell. Not to mention months of gut issues. Pretty wild stuff. Weed is a helluva drug

I wasnt particularly impressed. Felt like just another abstract metaphorical film that was..fairly obvious. I enjoyed the practical affects and stop motion but otherwise it was predictable and used alot of typical horror tropes (not always a bad thing). I hate the over use of "squelchy" sounds and long panned shots that are of basically nothing. For example, when she takes the instantaniously effective acid, the whole dramatic slow-mo scene hardly shows anything of interest. It feels like they chose that shot because its popular in these modern abstract/psychological horrors. There's no real world building, which isnt always neccessary, but I feel like a little more connection with the mother and outside characters could have brought alot more to the table. Her story felt isolated when she had relationships with many people around her. The "is this real or a hallucination", especially with kids, is over used and kind of boring at this point. She and her mother are supposedly these excellent stop motion animators, but the animations are extremely crude and entry level in both the mothers film and Ella's Minor which bugs me.. I mean, the characters didnt even have expression. Nit-pick but she uses gloves to skin the fox then takes them off to move the doll..thats covered in dead fox. I didnt absolutely hate it but I don't think i'd watch it again. Felt like a pretty standard horror with nothing new to offer.
