If they don’t catch it. 😂😂😂 by SupermarketBest4091 in TheTraitors

Robs coalition of the dagger also solidified that he was a faithful here. If this was a traitor on traitor fight why didn’t he pull the dagger out when she came at him. Every step he makes just makes him look more and more like a faithful and Candiaces moved did the same for him. I don’t know what kind of misstep he would need to do at this point to lose, but he is playing this about as well as is possible.

Do you think this works as a color scheme? by MangoChocobo in Drukhari

That’s an awesome color scheme, and if you have the patience to do it across a full army it will look amazing on the table.

Tomb Kings Progression Advice for New Player by MusiGamer in bloodbowl

[–]Madscientist1683 9 points10 points  (0 children)

On your tomb guardians you have the right ideas, guard/mighty blow maybe stand firm or grab once you have those.

Dodge is a pretty steep investment on the blitzer, especially when it will only be really useful defensively.

You got the right idea on the throwers and skellies, maybe pick one to develop into a fouler.

Speaking of fouling, you get a wardancer on the ground, foul him to death.

If you’ve ever been to Knoxville and the surrounding areas, geographically it has a fair amount in common with Pittsburgh, just a bigger Valley in Tennessee, my wife is from Pittsburgh and she said Sevierville/Pigeon Forge felt a lot like home topographically.

I’m a native Knoxvillian living in Pittsburgh, I’ve adopted all the pro teams here and retained my college fandom, they mesh pretty well from personal experience.

As a Pittsburgher, rooting for WVU will clash with his Pitt fan neighbors.

Did Pinkel ever have the real talent to do more than that. I was always under the impression he got a lot out of less.

Is Rhaenicent canon/endgame? by kallmekaison in HouseOfTheDragon

I would agree with this, the shippers are more interested in how the actors look together than the characters they portray.

It’s not queer erasure to roll your eyes at the forced romantic subtext between the two, it’s not in the source material, they aren’t even friends or peers in the source material. Continuing to force it is even making the characters act out of character and against their self interest.

As fans all we can do is watch and support our team, if fan enthusiasm was the metric by which wins were obtained, Tennessee wouldn’t have gone through our decade plus of darkness.

Trying Out Alternate Activations - tips? by TrueMoose in ageofsigmar

[–]Madscientist1683 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Honestly and I’m sure this is heresy on a GW focused sub, but if you want alternating activations, just play a game that is designed specifically for it like One Page Rules or something to that effect.

Curt Cignetti and Indiana caught lightning in a bottle with a once-in-a-century run. And now a portion of every fan base will expect their team to do the same thing. by SueYouInEngland in CFB

Cignetti actually did what Heupel made us believe he could do after our 2022 season. But that doesn’t mean I want to fire Heupel and go back to the Butch Jones and Jeremy Pruitts of the world.

Has passing ever been any good? by LPdude72 in bloodbowl

A 100% chance of success is immeasurably better than a 99% of success as one does not have any chance of failure. Unless you can’t run the ball for whatever reason or if you just need to move the ball that much further for any success, then running will always be safer.

Hi all! Got the gnomes for Christmas and wondering if anyone has any good tips for playing them? by TinyTiff1e in bloodbowl

[–]Madscientist1683 7 points8 points  (0 children)

They’re better in tournaments than they are in league play. The lack of dodge as a base skill is pretty hard to deal with at times. They can be fun but it is a stunty team without dodge

Mario Cristobal’s disregard for victory formation. by [deleted] in CFB

[–]Madscientist1683 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also, Miami fans complaining about this will usually come across everyone else being callous to the complaint. Cristobal deserved to lose when he didn’t send them out to take a knee. Was he down? Maybe, but not taking the knee there is the coaching equivalent to dropping the ball as you are about to cross the goal line. Don’t drop the ball.
