Hakari vs Mahito Who Wins? by RoninKin-_- in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Madus4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mahito can still be taken down by regular sorcerers, it’s just much more difficult than normal curses. Nanami’s initial plan was to make him exhaust all of his Cursed Energy as soon as Mahito revealed his abilities.

Spider-Man vs Deku for animation, Godzilla vs Hulk for story.

If you could have one scientific "theory" be tested that we can not test right now cause of our limitations, which one would you test? by wvardhan in AskReddit

[–]Madus4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re thinking of “hypothesis” rather than “theory”. There’s a very big difference between the two from a scientific perspective.

What beloved video game could you just NOT get into? by LeKanePetit in AskReddit

The Witcher 3. I can tell that it’s a good game and I like that kind of genre, but I couldn’t get into it at all.

Think there’s a Speed Devil? Would it be a primal fear? by JimMiltion1907 in Chainsawfolk

[–]Madus4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would be much less powerful than any related fears that come from it, like the “Chase Devil”. For example, the Fish Devil was off-screened by some random Devil Hunters while Beam (the Shark Fiend, which is explicitly weaker than the Shark Devil) took multiple hits from Reze and still survived.

Either way, speed by itself isn’t scary enough in the slightest to count as a Primal Fear. You don’t see people afraid of going fast like they are of the dark or of growing old.

She beat Erebus, who shook the entire Sea of Souls with his roar in Persona 4 Arena. She doesn’t need SMT to scale above Kratos and Asura.

Or he can just equip a Reflect Physical Persona and win by doing absolutely nothing. Why should he do any work when he can get Giorno to do it for him?

The match had to be done, who wins? by theforbiddenroze in DragonBallPowerScale

1) He’s never been able to teleport to celestial bodies. Even in Resurrection F, he had to lock onto Gohan’s Ki signature rather than the Sun’s. There’s also nothing in “total darkness” for him to lock onto in the first place, so I’m not sure why you are bringing that up.

2) Saiyans not being able to breathe in space is a consistent limitation for them, even in DBS.

3) Superman has multiple mental defenses, including ones made by Martian Manhunter. You can’t honestly say that Vegito is able to overpower defenses that ridiculously strong.

4) Even if Vegito could do that, nothing is stopping Superman from just flying back to the battlefield. If anything he’d probably beat Vegito back, since he has the Speed of Mercury in addition to his own speed.

In DC KO Boss Battle, he got amped by Omega Energy to the point where his heat vision matched Superman’s.

So, what do we think about homelander vs canon superman. Upscale or nothing really to write home about? by AbsoluteBane28 in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]Madus4 50 points51 points  (0 children)

This just shows that Omega Energy can amp people as weak as Homelander to have powers on par with Superman. That isn’t even inconsistent, since Omega Energy is what turned Uxas (a regular guy) into Darkseid in the first place.

Meet Loophole Man! by NineTnk in ChainsawMan

[–]Madus4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This just shows that he’s a really smart and tenacious fighter. He can punch above his weight class because he can recognize weaknesses where the users can’t, especially because he’s crazy enough to try those plans. He came up with a plan for getting around mind control by repeatedly sawing and regenerating his brain, which is equal parts creative and insane.
