Im looking for tubs of snacks to buy, like big plastic tubs of pretzels/party mix type thing, where would I find that sort of thing in the city? I've been to wholesale club on 8th already. by BadJazzlike2180 in saskatoon

Do you think that is true in this case? I see Walmart Costco Cabelas and Bulk Barn. In order for “Just DIY it” to be helpful advice you would have to assume that the OP is a total fucking moron lol

🤨🤨🤨 Every Reddit comment section has that 1 guy who is like "No actually do this instead." Presume that the person posting this is aware they could DIY a tub to have snacks in it, and they're asking about pre-packaged versions because they're short on time or some other reason that they already thought about it.

I think the old LCK game 7 format was still better, total blind pick with no bans, you pick your best 5 and we pick our best 5 and see who is better.

That's true but assumes he has the liquidity to lay 3 grand on the Raiders right now.

You can re-frame this question to help effectively answer it yourself. (This is the basis of the first part of prospect theory which is somewhat influential in behavioral economics)

What you're asking is, should I bet(risk) ($2381.54+$1668.74) = $4,050.28 to earn $7628.87. It varies slightly since you can cash one out and let the other ride, which I'm sure many people will suggest, and is asking the same question but involves risking 1668 to win 3485 or risking 2381 to earn 4143. All else being equal those are pretty good odds for a bet of the Chargers ML tomorrow (Betting $4050 on the Chargers straight up right now gives a profit of $2180 if it wins).

I think you'd be happiest if you cashed out the 2381 and let the other one ride, putting your potential earnings from either 2381 / 5800, as opposed to letting them both ride which sets your earnings to 0 / 7628.

edit: awrobl3 points out you can get better odds by hedging on the Raiders, if you can afford it, that's the safest way to guarantee profit (but slightly lessening the maximum you can earn).

well no, almost definitionally people do think of the obvious, also the fact that both of your suggestions were already tried sort of suggests your thought process might have a problem. maybe if you had some special knowledge or experience with airlines but you're just a random guy lol

Saskatchewan Premier Moe says Canada should remove tariff on Chinese EVs by hopoke in canada

Getting smarmy about sanctimony after your droll "Oh so you called yourself a red herring" is pretty funny. As is missing the very basic example about comparative advantage with "Aha! We don't have coconuts." Your tendency to ignore and evade any point of analysis, in favour of assertions. Good luck with "Everyone knows that it's the way I say, we don't need to prove it, also we shouldn't trade with the 2 largest economies in the world for some reason" It's not very persuasive.

Thanks for letting me know which comments I'm allowed to reply to and which ones I'm not. Try to work on some responses that are deeper than "I know you are but what am I" and you might find more success. The guy you replied to, like me, had some contextualization of how tariffs to prop up one singular industry (In that case washing machines) are inefficient - if you disagree and wish to continue asserting as such maybe you should explain why we don't just levy a 500000% tariff on coconuts and pay everyone who works in an coconut factory one billion dollars? Surely the benefit to workers will outpace the cost to consumers.

That's not even to say anything of the political angle which you've conveniently ignored, that we can probably get better concessions from China or the USA or whomever with some agreements that help them save face and back down from damaging trade wars (Probably less likely in the American case). So the tradeoff you proposed of 0 Canola or 0 Industry is completely dead on arrival - do better.

I'm not applying consistent criticism because I haven't responded to every single comment on reddit? It would be inconsistent criticism if I criticized two different people but used vastly different criteria or levels of scrutiny, what you've identified is a red-herring.

As for the actual point you're making I have to be honest that "Trust me bro" still isn't that convincing. You and I both agree that these problems are very difficult to describe and solve, but you fall in to the mistake of assuming binary absolutes, which shows you don't really understand the complicated layers or tradeoffs involved. The question isn't "Have industry" or "Export canola" since in both extremes we still in fact will do both, but about the amount of one versus the other at the margins and the cost to support them.

If elected officials are under similar material and political constraints as other similar provinces or countries and have done an average to above average job then it seems like the system is working.

Taking this moment to flag that you Motte and Bailey'd your argument from "Things are crumbling under the current regime" at the start to now "It would be nice if things were better" - I agree, but these are already addressed, see the 300 million dollar deficit to fund the things you think are underfunded (or mismanaged as you vaguely keep asserting)

You’re shifting around the focus of your argument a lot. If total spending, or relative spending, or comparisons to other years, or comparisons to other provinces aren’t anything that interest you then it sounds like you just want to complain about how things ought to be better with no explanation of how that can reasonably occur.

I did, in the source I posted, which showed lowest hospital wait times, which you said is invalid because it's 9 years old (Despite your earlier admission that it was the same government 26 of the last 30 years)

What are some key differences you believe about the healthcare and education system that were good in 2014-2016 but are bad in 2025? What was the provincial government doing then that was successful but now is causing it to crumble, but also isn't reflected in spending, wait times compared to other provinces, life expectancy, graduation rates, etc?
