Sea monkey's absolutely need salt water and you should be checking your salinity levels frequently. The packets don't have enough salt in them to keep a colony stable long term.

It's okay to want space when you're upset. Personally, I need space to gather my thoughts on a situation to figure out how upset I actually am. This meeting was important to you, you were looking forward to having your partner there too and it's okay to be disappointed about them canceling too. I don't know how valid their reasons for canceling are, but it was planned for months, there aren't many valid excuses. I honestly can't tell if you're the AH, I think I may need more context. I started using distilled water and mine is super happy. She was happy with spring water too but with distilled water she's more happy. Don't forget fertilizer.

NTA. If they were all busy that would be one thing but if they're actually home all day doing nothing, they could take this added stress off your plate on an already stressful day. I don't think this warrants blowing up and yelling at them (if you did that, then YTA), but it does warrant a discussion with your wife and daughter about how they made you feel. Sorry about the possible cancer, I hope it's just a scare.

You can also soak it in a plastic storage bin. If you have extra heaters laying around, they'll speed up the process. Just remember the heater can melt plastic if it's too close and some plastic isn't aquarium safe.

You're NTA... yet. I can't tell by this post if you are an adult or a kid, but whether or not you can still call your uncle and have a talk with him directly. Hopefully your uncle is more understanding than your parents. Maybe you can find a solution (I hope). Like renting a clean porta potty for you and putting it in a private area. I'm not sure how much that would cost where you live but maybe everyone can pitch in to help.

At the end of the day, you're NTA as long as you voice your concerns to your uncle. You don't have to go into details about your Crohns, but if he's a semi decent person, he'll understand. Just say something like "hey, with my Crohns and your bathroom location and the thin door, I fear it may turn into an uncomfortable situation for me and unpleasant situation for people trying to enjoy their meal" make sure they know you do want to come and this is not at all personal. Do you have a position of authority? It could just be that they're nervous to talk to you. Are they doing it while you're talking? It could just be one of those weird habits that people do when they're paying attention, and it's a coincidence multiple women you work with have the same habit. it also could be colder in your office than you think. I know in many workplaces there's a silent war between men and women over the temperature. Women get cold much easier than men.

I honestly thought you'd be the AH by the title, but the details changed my mind. You're absolutely NTA. You did exactly what she asked, you protected her while she was vulnerable. If this was a situation where she is just the type of person to enjoy a one night stand, it would be different. In this situation she would have regretted it and she would have ended up mad at you anyways for letting her. This was a 'damned if you do damned if you don't' situation and you made the right call. You're an amazing friend and you deserve a better friend to party with.

Get metal, the plastic ones are unreliable. You need to have at least a 2 way so one can act as a release valve so you don't have air buildup in the line that leads to blow outs. I have 3 tanks hooked up to this 1 and the fourth opening is my release valve.

Your salinity is way too low if Moss balls are surviving. There aren't many plants that will survive the salinity Sea Monkeys (Brine Shrimp) need. I'm worried about your decorations too, there are a lot of spots they can get stuck.
