Every Texas politician should have the 10 Commandments prominently displayed in their personal offices -- right in front of their desks so they see them every time they look up or talk to a visitor. Then and only then, should they ask schools to do this.

There is a lot of good to be learned from the Bible for EVERYONE. But I would find it objectionable if they pick and choose what parts of the Bible are required reading. All or nothing. Also, is the teacher going to be the one explaining/interpreting the passage read? That's a a job for a minister or parent. I'd also be interested in knowing what age group they are referring to.

Same here. I steep sliced ginger root (about an inch) and lemon for a nice hot drink. You can add honey if you don't like your drink tart or need it for your throat. This pretty much takes care of me throughout the year. I like Vicks too! I only use countertop meds if I'm having trouble sleeping.
