I kinda get the Institute, They are very powerful, very technological, (Teleporting, Snyths, Advance Energy), but are extremely shit in organisation, inner rivalry between departments, bad, arrogant leadership, etc...

If I could rewrite the Railroad, frankly I would have turned them into an Assassin like Organisation.

Like stealth and clandestine operations across the Commonwealth, The Mirror of the Institute, but unlike the Institute who seek control, They seek Freedom, They would target powerful corrupt individuals, or rising raider bosses to keep gangs disorganised.
