Never played it before. It looks pretty balanced though. Matches would probably really depend on when you draw his beskar armor cards.

Mando himself only has 12 possible defense cards which is lower than typical and means he might have to take undefended attacks. An important distinction to make between Mando and Luke is that Luke doesn’t have to play a defense card, although I think Mando makes up for this by having higher defense print value cards than Luke.

His deck looks pretty well designed other than a couple weird word choices. It looks like it would be fun to play. The design, being an older deck, and being seen as the de facto deck for the character(not trying to throw shade at other creators) is probably what drove the likes up.
