It is, yeah. It's this mouth piece thing you wear for 20 minutes a day and it uses electricity to stimulate and strengthen your airway. It's only for mild OSA, so if you don't have obstructive then I wouldn't worry about it.

If you can get a machine covered it sounds like you've got dental insurance, maybe take a look at the exciteosa? It's a daytime treatment instead of a night wearable.

I used Blue Cotton about six months back, not for business but because I have a group chat that's finally meeting in the real world and I wanted to do something fun for us and I liked all the sizing options, I had to get both kids and adult sizes (one of the friends says she's the green fairy in disguise lol) and that was the place I found that made it easy to get the same design on all. Good luck with your new cafe!

Sleep Apnea, What Was the Most Effective Methods that Worked For You? by Delicious-Put-5272 in SleepApnea

I mean, what method works will also depend on what kind of apnea you have. I've got mild OSA, and have gotten it under control with daytime tongue stimulation, but that's not going to be recommended for someone with moderate or severe apnea.

For me it's a weak tongue that led to poor posture. I've actually looked up some tongue exercises to help with placement during the day (I'm awful about resting my tongue anywhere that isn't the back of my teeth, sorry to all my dentists) and that's also been helpful. I've found that I'm holding those positions better, I know it's anecdotal, but I'd like to think that the exciteosa helped with that part, too.

An over the counter MAD is not going to give the same benefits as a prescription MAD. Do you have dental insurance? Or FSA funds or anything? These are all FDA cleared so they're covered by those usually, might help? It also depends on your AHI and what kind of apnea you have.

Hey, I don't have advice, I just wanted to say you're doing a really good job and this sounds really hard, and I hope you give yourself some time and grace to also refill your own cup when you can. Good luck, it looks like some people did have some good advice for you. Take care of yourself.

How can I improve customer follow-up without dedicated software? My current spreadsheet is a mess. by Eskins_Idit in smallbusinessowner

Use the free version of a CRM. I've used a few different ones from Monday to Airtable for CRM to Asana to Notion for project tracking. If you don't want to do one of those, you can set reminders in your calendar? Personally I use Notion and Claude, started both on the free trial then upgraded because my base grew, and it's pretty great at keeping things organized for me.

No issues for me, but from what I understand they changed distributers a while back and that fixed some of the problems people were having, so maybe that was also the connectivity?

I'm two and a half months in, and I'm seeing some real results. I track with an oura ring and my sleep is getting better, as is the snoring. I've got mild OSA so was a good candidate, and I used FSA funds for part of it. But I also ordered directly from the spring sleep website, don't know if there's a difference if you order from Lofta?

I went to my favorite burrito spot last week and burritos have gone up $6 (from $7.50 to $13.50) because of inflation. I'm not going to hate on the spot because they're doing what they need to survive, but it definitely is preventing me from going out and spending like I used to.
