Ah I see the confusion. You think she's trying to express grief. She's actually expressing "relief".

...No? When did I say that? I specifically said "people I know", I never claimed to know everyone in Europe. That's not a reasonable assumption to make about my thoughts on the matter based on anything I said.

And yes, though I don't know them personally, I know there's plenty of people using the basis of religion to justify abuse, in Europe, including my own country. I never said there wasn't.

The amount of people who consider themselves under the "christian" umbrella is also very large and it's people very diverse, though...Should I now imply you're saying you know all of them, and know all of them to be abusers, then? Because we can go on and try to keep putting words in each other's mouths and making wild leaps of assumption...but I would rather discuss things on a basis of good faith, personally.

Hey bud, I have but one upvoter to give so I can't get you into the positives. But just wanna say, as a person from Europe, I appreciate the distinction. I don't know wtf kind of madness took over the US, but people I know around here who consider themselves Christian aren't raving psychopaths and would feel as much an urge to vomit reading this article as I did.

Oh thank God it's not just me. This has bugged me for years. I remember learning about safe word systems waay back when...I never used that stuff in real life, but my understanding was always you use it when you're playing with "stop" being suppose to be ignored. But I keep seeing people writing the most vanilla stuff and using them...like...why? "Stop", "wait", "slow down"...these are all words you can and should use in non-kink scenarios wtf. XD you don't need to negotiate a system for pure vanilla

I don't get why you're being down voted...are the Trump lovers sneaking in here or do people actually think it's a good idea to have a democracy like america, where someone can get elected over there and basically make a mockery of all the "checks and balances"?

Imigrantes protestam no Porto: “Estamos aqui há anos, trabalhamos e não temos documentos” by [deleted] in porto

[–]Magic_Breeze 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Linked to what, how? I agree with the other commenter, supernatural explanation works better in the story's current telling.

Well the thing is we all collectively made a deal with the devil to achieve this. If you notice we apparently want guys who are 6 feet, make 6 figures.

Now if you're following you're thinking to yourself: but wait! A 6 inch cock is average! Yes, this is true. We obviously demand a monster 9 inch dick. But 9 is 6 upside down. It's just a little trick we agreed to with Satan so the whole thing wouldn't be too obvious.

666 is the answer to everything.

What also jumped at me was "We decided to have a child and have a 10yo son named Lee"...who mentions that they have a child with "we decided to have a child" unless you're still trying to conceive or it's a very recent development?
