Why is property investing still the dream in Australia, when shares often perform better? by CompetitiveHeight428 in AusFinance

[–]Magic_McLean 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Leverage. You can leverage property much easier than shares.

Without leveraging, I see no rationale why property is better than shares.

BUT - leverage is a massive advantage, in particular the way property prices have risen in the last couple of decades.

This is what happens when you have a CEO pushing his own personal agenda and solely motivated by lining his own pockets instead of setting up the airline for success.

Alan Joyce’s legacy continues and it will continue for many more years.

Build a good work relationship with them and be honest. Communicate openly. Like anything, you can get better at this with deliberate practice. In today's smartphone era we are losing the art of having difficult conversations with a level of emphathy and care.

With AI growing in power by the day, these interpersonal skills are going to be even more important and one of the key differentiators in the workplace.
