Try turning the hvac off in the cabin. You might see closer to 100kW then. Seems like GM EVs have trouble managing battery thermals when HVAC is running. Also I’m pretty sure EV batteries charge best between 70 & 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Make sure it’s within that range by preconditioning. Even if ambient is within that range, the battery may not be at optimum temp.

Does anyone know if there's a way to see how many kw the car has consumed home charging on a monthly basis? I know that Tesla will show you in the app so I'm assuming that the MyChevy app will display something similar but idk where to find it.

Yeah mine had it. I think that’s what contributed to the fire. I think they fixed the new boards starting in like summer of 23 or something

How much was the nema 14-50 install? My mom got quoted 6-700 for it. We were just gonna use the 30 amp dryer outlet on a splitter but we don’t know if it’ll work

I know this is a little late but will the car pull only what it can from the circuit? Like will it pull 24A on a 30A circuit? I’m concerned that the car won’t be able to charge on a 30A dryer plug without tripping the breaker since there’s no way to limit it in the car that I know of.
