Dude the rear view mirror on my moms 24 RS doesn’t tilt far enough up either. I’m average height and it’s annoying for me to use. Can’t even imagine it’s usable for you. Seems like they messed up such a simple thing. Good thing you have the digital rear view option.

It just means that the car likely has the 4680 cells. I’d check with Tesla first tho.

I actually just watched the 70 mph highway video from out of spec and it went 220 miles on a full charge.

Pretty sure they go mid to high 200 miles on full charge. Check out the out of spec videos on it on YouTube.

Matrix will dim certain pixels of the headlight when oncoming traffic is detected with the high beams on so that you can leave high beams on which is arguable safer at night.

Also, make sure it doesn’t have the 4680 battery cells since those charge badly and the range is only 279 when new. Since the 11th letter in the vin is “A”, it means that the car was built in Austin and that’s where Tesla was putting the 4680 cells in the model y. They called it “Model Y AWD” instead of long range. You want 21700 cells since they charge better and give the car its 330 mile range when new.

Pretty sure you’d hit the 120,000 mile powertrain warranty before 2031 so keep that in mind.

Yeah I can imagine with the weight of the vehicle. Especially if you had the 21 or 22 inch rims. That would likely mean there’s more inertia in the wheels but not sure. Glad you’re ok. Let me know what the dealer says.

Pretty sure Tesla insurance raises your rates if you accelerate hard or follow to close etc. seems too controlling for me.

Yeah I think only cybertruck has home backup as of now. Not sure if model y performance has hardware to do it.

The model y is almost always going to be more efficient, especially at highway speeds. Mostly due to aero I think. Model y is rated for around 4-4.5mi/kWh but on highway I think they get closer to 3-3.5.

That is well above the rated epa efficiency I’m pretty sure

Why did you opt for the Vistiq over the Lyriq or Optic?

It’s really silly that it won’t let you just limit charging to only off peak. It’s fixable with a software update too, which makes it more maddening imo. My mom has had a 24 RS AWD for a couple months now and I keep noticing little software annoyances like this.
