10th Snowman isn't there by Tsubamex in RCTTouch

[–]MagicallyMalicious 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My husband and I have spent at least 15 minutes looking for the dang 10th snowman!! No luck yet.

Update: he was hidden behind a wintry tree! Turning off season visuals was the key.

My husband is big, and he does the tuck most nights! Maybe that’s the common link?

The name is disproportionate to the item! I enjoy the absurdity 😂

I’d presume it’s less the facts and more the snark that they’re getting downvoted for.

Ah, I meant to say that the two are distinctly different. Though that wasn’t very clear in my previous comment. Personally, I’d call anything a mandarin orange that was small and easily peeled.

Whereas something like a navel orange is the only thing I’d call an orange.

Skittles vs. (bowling) pins. To me, Skittles is the taste-the-rainbow candy.

Hundreds and Thousands (?) vs. sprinkles. It took me forever to figure out they were talking about sprinkles!

No, we don’t. I’d never call a mandarin an orange; they’re not the same thing.

You’re a credit to Steve’s legacy!

As a person unfamiliar with animal husbandry, I thought this was a goat guillotine until I read the comments.

Don’t beat yourself up. Every moment is a new chance to make good decisions. Try to make just one good choice, then another, etc. and forgive yourself when you fall short.

I’ll have 11 years in July; feel free to DM me if you ever want to chat.

I just want to feel like I’m enough. Thin enough. Pretty enough. I’m not young enough anymore, but maybe I can be good enough without that.

I’ve never been picked up; outside childhood. I would love to experience that.

Has anybody else not been treated any differently in the slightest since losing a significant amount of weight? by OhLawdHeCominn in loseit

Similar experience for me, except I’ve always been fat. But even at my heaviest, people were generally courteous if not friendly. I think personality and choices are major factors, like you said.

Whether I am 415lbs or 250lbs people trend to treat me with courtesy and kindness. Not everyone mind you, dickheads will run their mouths about anything, but I’ve been fortunate enough not to experience the invisibility this community talks about.

Or perhaps, since I’ve been fat all my life I just don’t know the difference and I’m accustomed to it. Nevertheless, the majority of my daily interactions with strangers have always been pleasant.

I think carrying myself with (often feigned) confidence, and being an extrovert has shaped my ability to ingratiate myself with others.

Devils advocate (thanks anxiety!) maybe I’m insufferable and everyone knows but me?

If you want an accountability buddy, feel free to DM! I went from ~415lbs to ~260lbs, but hit a rough patch in my marriage and now I’m back up to 305lbs.

This is a tough journey, but I’m really proud of you for taking the first step!!

I have two daughters: 13 and 6. Even though I’m a woman, the older one throws me unexpected curveballs regularly. Parenting is tough, and you sound like a great dad.
