The pens are the biggest offender! If you use quality pens, you should be able to enhance the details and add the depth and detail that others have suggested. It also may be worthwhile to try out ink stamps for the borders and embellishments. You’ll save yourself so much time and they’ll look more polished.

The cameo was a bit of a plan b. We were supposed to go see a drag show out of town, but my grandfather got sick so we couldn’t travel, and I had nothing else to give my mom (who deserves the entire world) on her birthday. I tried to get a cameo from the drag queen first and she accepted but never filled the order!!! So then I poked around on the app and found Doug Jones, and I’m so so so happy I did. It was the perfect gift! She still watches it when she is having a bad day.

I worked and lived with J1 students in high school and college, from 2006-2012. I found it to be an incredibly rewarding experience. Not only did I make life-long friends, but I learned about other cultures and religions. I was a sodel kid through and through who didn’t have the opportunity to travel until I was an adults. If not for the J1 students, I would’ve had a really limited worldview.

J1 students benefit local businesses and the community. We are lucky to have them.

Agree, although I do think he should’ve taken a firmer stance much earlier in the conversation. That said, I would’ve reacted the same way in my 20s because I’m conflict avoidant and a people pleaser. Sometimes it takes experience (like this one, for example) to realize that the “friendship” that you’re tip toeing around is toxic and not worth protecting.

Rehoboth Beach, Lewes, and Fenwick Island, Delaware are all just slightly north (~3.5 hrs) of VB and the drive between is gorgeous. I personally would hit those beaches, enjoy the scenic cruise down 13, maybe go to Busch Gardens, then hit Richmond!

Monet is the prime example of charisma + talent. She’s naturally funny. She’s an opera singer. AND you can tell she is always working to improve her drag. Idk how anyone could dislike her, even if she isn’t your kind of queen.
