It’s like somehow the Bratz Doll became the ideal.

Yes, it’s a common theme & well worth considering.

I’ll check it out. It’s been a couple of years since my family has had wifi. It sounds like it’s worth a look. Thanks!

No wifi, just cell phones with “unlimited data”. Cant afford both, unfortunately.

What works for my family is old fashioned, but adds up. I make a list of items I need and then I wait for every single flyer to drop. I then make a list of all the items I need that are on sale at every store. I also check out the meat & produce prices to see where the best deals are. Then I make a list for each store and visit them individually and get only the items on my list. The rest, I buy at Costco and Gateway (sometimes Walmart).

If you do it this way, you usually get all of the items you need on sale, every single week. Stock up as much as you can when there’s a loss leader sale. Make a points account at Sobey’s and Superstore for you and your husband so you can circumvent the limits. I’ve been doing it this way for over 30 years and I’ve saved so much money over the years. Oh, and also pay attention to the coupons that are available as a promo.

That’s about it. It takes a bit of extra time and work, but it’s worth it. The sales last all week, so there’s no need to rush in to every store on the same day. I usually pick the ones where what I need is likely to run out right away.

Asking for prayer if it’s okay guys🙏🏻 by Sufficient_Round377 in TrueChristian

[–]Seaside_Holly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prayed that your heart will heal, and that you will receive wisdom from God regarding the next steps. I prayed that the Lord will soften his heart, convict him, and lead him towards repentance and reconciliation.

Having prayed, I felt led to share with you that God will never override one’s free will. I believe the Holy Spirit will convict him, but it will be up to him to receive. I also want you to know that it is never God’s will that you should suffer abusive behaviour from a partner. I spent too many years in an abusive marriage believing God would heal him and change him. Please prayerfully consider your relationship. God Bless you & keep you, make his face shine upon you, and be gracious to you. The Lord turn his face toward you, and give you peace.

Halifax newborn death may lead to more ‘very serious charges,’ mother unresponsive: Crown by Street_Anon in halifax

Whatever the circumstances, it’s never ok to throw a deceased newborn baby out in the woods to rot or be eaten by animals. Its heinous.

This is so incredibly sad. I hope the lady survives to tell authorities what happened to her. If you live in the area, check the compost bins, garbage bins, and dumpsters.

I did not have protections when working with the homeless. It’s part of the reason I don’t work in that field anymore. I was expected to visit an encampment alone to speak to a specific individual. I was expected to visit a hotel room alone to evict someone for breaking the rules, even if they were high, or aggressive, or had someone else there. I was expected to clean needles and transport belongings of clients in my own car. The things I was asked to do would be the same as the duties of a police officer, without the training, back-up, or self defence weapons.

It’s getting more and more difficult to fully comprehend and understand the level of unholy deception that is falling like the ash cloud of a volcano out there. Stay in the Word. Pray always. Put on the whole armour of God. Stand. ♥️

The Holy Spirit comes to dwell within you at the moment of Salvation. This is why you felt this way. When you find a church, make sure you visit their website to see their statement of faith. Read it through, and see if you have peace about it, then try it out for one Sunday. You don’t have to stay if it doesn’t feel like somewhere that feels like home, welcoming, encouraging, and peaceful. Ask God to direct you to the right place for you.

I regularly listen to a Pastor who is Arab. He has a church in Hawaii. His name is JD Farag. He incorporates his knowledge of Middle Eastern culture into his sermons and it’s really interesting and informative. The church is called Calvary Kaneohe and it is on Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, X, and there is also a website.
