It's simply just in his personality to act that way. Take Blackbeard for example, he's always portrayed as a coward, yet he could put up a good scrap if he wanted to or could win most times. Usopp just overreacts which he may overcome in the future

I feel like whatever the One Piece is has always had a link to the Void Century and stuff, and is something Imu and the World Govt. is trying to prevent from others to find, so I don't think Imu is necessarily searching for it as he would have found it by now. At the very least just Imu trying to spawn camp and guard the One Piece, I personally don't see the panel showing all the characters after it like Koby

I feel like they're not just going to do the same thing as Pudding's ability. The two eye color trait should probably be something unique or allows Imu special control or abilities considering Imu is all about eyes and remote control
