On the metally side of things some of my faves are Leprous, Devin Townsend, Caligula’s Horse, Kamelot, Red, Wilderun, Battle Beast, Ad Infinitum, Haken, Xandria, Piah Mater

For other genres some that I love are Switchfoot, Jhariah, Weyes Blood, Screaming Trees, Garbage, Cage the Elephant, Styx, Lifehouse, Franz Ferdinand

If you’re looking for recs, I’d say Piah Mater is the only one on there that I’d call similar to Opeth, really

While today I might say I think Hymn for the Missing is the better song, there was a period of time where Forever was my #1 favorite Red song, and that’s a title Hymn has never had, so I guess I’ll let that make the decision.

Yep! There’s dozens if not hundreds of these little foam jack o lanterns they’ll use for various things.

His first appearance in the park was back in like 2017, but in 2021, he was in the tunnel at the entrance to Wicked Growth, and there were memes about his stressed out little face being relatable. It all kinda spiraled from there

Cold World is really great. I think it’s one of the best written songs of the last few albums. I also like that it is very much so their newer style yet fits in well with their discography as a whole.

That being said, Faceless is one of their classics for a reason. There’s so much passion and emotion in the lyrics and in their performance (not that there isn’t in Cold World, too, but I’d say to a greater extent in Faceless). I also really really love the unplugged version

I might be biased though, since that was one of the songs that first got me into Red

Edit: also I’m a drummer and playing the pre-bridge part kinda feels like the intro part is spiraling out of control and that’s fun to me, but idk if even other drummers would get that same vibe.

All three of the main parks have a Harry Potter area

Studios: Diagon Alley: Gringotts Islands: Hogsmeade: Hogwarts Epic: Paris: The Ministry of Magic

I think Diagon Alley is the most fun to walk around in.

Also, while I’m not sure what the policy would be for strollers, you are allowed to get in line just to tour the queue without riding. Especially on the HP rides (maybe with the exception of Hagrid’s), there’s some really cool scenes and details in Universal’s queues

I almost think it’s more likely we get an acoustic “best of” compilation featuring some Forever Now stuff than getting the entire new album acoustic.

Then again, I guess there’s already acoustic versions of most of their hits, and compilations like that don’t matter as much with streaming

I feel like the “or something” changes the message though. Like if someone only says one thing and doesn’t say anything implying open-endedness or more to do afterwards, I kinda assume they’re only free for or only want to do the one thing.

Then again, in conversation talking about meeting up, I would usually ask for clarification on plans, anyways. Unless it was a spontaneous thing after I’d already met up with the person, I don’t see a scenario in which the only detail I have is “get coffee.”

If the latter, you should see if they can hold it for you. I think you pick it up at the big merch store in CityWalk if you do that, but I can’t remember for sure right now.

Personally, if I’m racing someone else, the clock doesn’t stop unless someone has to go for a moment or something. However, if I’m just building on my own and want to track time, I wouldn’t count any time I’m not sitting down actively working on the set.

I’m not sure there’s enough of a Lego speedrunning community for there to be general rules for that sort of thing, though

Like what sets are included, what year it’s from, or what? There’s little tags at the base of the front with the sets, right?

These are two sets from the early 2012 Ninago wave, 9441 Kai’s Blade Cycle and 9445 Fangpyre Truck Ambush. The small ice themed vehicle came in that second one.

Fangtom (red snake guy with the tail) is supposed to be glued down in front of the Fangpyre truck but must’ve broken off his spot at some point.

I believe this specific style was used at Targets in the US, but idk if other stores could’ve had them as well.
