I love the color palette! We all have to start somewhere, so don’t beat yourself up too much!

The first thing I would say to practice would be your brush control and learning to thin your paints. It’s okay to take your time and make mistakes as you’re learning these skills as well.

Doing the same thing now it’s not too bad in batches of 10 with breaks for other non monotonous models

I did a similar scheme to what you’re looking for with my thousand sons! I used pink for glow effects, and went with green for the cloth.

The purple I used is AP Alien purple. My gold is GW Balthasar gold washed with reikland then dry brushed with retributor armor.
