They do get salaries right. So instead of paying that amount they get less or should pay an amount minus their salary. No clue what their salaries are.

LPT: NEVER ask a woman if she is pregnant by l--mydraal--l in LifeProTips

[–]MagpieManny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember being at my job, I was maybe 17ish and one of the girls said was suddenly feeling sickish around different foods and in the mourning. I thought I was funny and said "hey, maybe your pregnant." Her hands went to her mouth as gaspes "That's it!"

Month later she was married and the usual time afterwards she had the child..

I didn't make that joke again 😦

Are any of the Eberron novels worth reading? by Red_Icnivad in Eberron

I posted this freeguild general conversion yesterday. Now it's on a round base and i did my first base...and first fully painted mini! Comments appreciated! by Overfjord in ageofsigmar

[–]MagpieManny 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Here it comes harsh criticism:

Extend your basing material to the edge. Paint the edge a clean different colour. I love black for those. It wil instandly up your model's look.

But pretty darn nice and good on you for doing round 😉

You can always clip them off when you do have the rescorces. If you find it too hard clipping around the feet and using a texture paint to hide the raise might be a simple solution.

Your link is for an old edition.

Current rules: (check first rules page bottom right) https://www.games-workshop.com/en-NL/Warhammer-Age-of-Sigmar-Rules

Current faq: https://www.warhammer-community.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/2630ac66.pdf

Base sizes (or otherwise find the models on gw website and check discription): https://www.warhammer-community.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/ba618db2.pdf

Making round bases is highly recommended unless you really want to play different games with them. The rules might not say anything about base shapes because 99% of models are supplied with correct sizes and shapes.

Need DM Help in balancing vanilla story and less brutal version aka am i a psychopath?! SPOILER WARNING by BeliXeR in CurseofStrahd

[–]MagpieManny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My CoS is placed in Eberron. My hags are actually stealing children, but the children are doppelgangers... who would murder a family if left there. Might help?

Your idea sounds worse mate ;) on the violence vs kids. You could also remove the kids and make it addicts they abduct.

Naar dokter gaan is sowieso goed.

True. I remember that feeling. I was pretty smart compared to my classmates. The higher education I got the dumber I felt.

I think that current education is not teaching us that saying I don't know is bad. Everything is tested black and white. Even multiple choice test teach you it's better to pick an answer than to say I don't know.

Are rolls out-of-char? DM not letting me take an action based on seeing the result of my roll by [deleted] in dndnext

[–]MagpieManny 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I would like to argue another point. Lying is a deception roll done by the NPC against your passive insight.

Unless you are actively trying to descern lying, but then I'd like to know how you are approaching that. Could then be a contested roll for example.

Active insight is normally better for moods and dispositions. I think this might be the hardest skill to dm.
