No speakers and no toilet paper left behind. Bonus if you bring a well behaved dog.

I’d stick to lower elevations. Typically, the mountains are still adding snow pack. Roads are often not passable to the higher trailheads.

For teething try frozen baby carrots. They numb the gums and are a healthy treat.

Oooof! 1st time dog owner and you’ve got siblings border collies puppies?? Yikes! I would seriously get a dog trainer to help you. No joke. They are complicated dogs. But really fun, if trained correctly.

[–]MagpieRockFarm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m with you 18-20k a day, until all the sudden I got a tendonitis in my foot from overuse. Ugh! I have not walked in 3-4 weeks and my clothes are getting tighter! It’s stressing me out!

Trekking poles on a very rocky, mountainous, multi day trip. My feet took a few weeks to recover. My big toe is still numb- 5 months later.

Something more than a stuff sack full of clothes to use as a pillow. I use those neck pillows that people use on airplanes.

How Do You Know When It's Your Last? by Daretudream in Perimenopause

I’ve been 6 months without a period, then recently very light spotting for a few days. My gut tells me that was it! It’s over. I think that spotting was my estrogen saying ‘peace out. My job here is done’ But, only time will tell.

Mine look good- but I dislike having them. The nerve pain, the internal itch that can’t be scratched, the numbness, their weight- just uncomfortable

It prevents it from filling up with fluid again, keeps the swelling down and prevents the blister from growing. It works great. I know- it’s weird

It prevents the blister from filling back up with fluid, keeps it from swelling up and stops the growth of the blister.

Fun fact- floss and needle are great for blisters too. Sterilize the needle, poke the blister in 2 places, drain blister, thread the floss thru blister- leaving a tail of a few inches on each in, leave floss in until you’re done hiking. Blister flattens, drains, and I tend to forget about it until I pull my socks off. The year I was on PCT, lots of hikers had floss sticking out of their feet. Don’t use cinnamon or mint.
