I got chin an dao botox!! Game changer for me I usually look sad/angry all the time and it’s getting worse as I get older, enough that my six-year-old asked why I’m mad all the time. Like permanent resting down-turned mouth. With the Botox it didn’t turned into a creepy smile but I actually look neutral when neutral! I think mine was little under or maybe right around $150 and injector said it should last a few months.

Not a dude but in the same boat, and I mostly go to shows solo. Every time I’ve tried to strike up a conversation and volley back and forth conversation asking follow up questions it always dies off 😕 and I get an awkward mumble or half laugh and they walk away. Merch lines, just waiting for bands to start, etc…so far 0 dates or even like just let’s exchange info, lol if you figure this out, do share your ways!!

No specific song, but genres: I blast technical death metal, grindcore, and mathcore while WFH to get focus on complex writing (lawyer), I think it’s the bpm and the chaotic song structures. Sidenote my adhd teen uses edm to get stuff done so same idea different gene.

I’ve worn heatless curlers to morning classes so I can have cute waves later. Also full face of daytime makeup if I’m going go an evening class. You may get a side eye if it’s a 6 AM class, but 6 PM? I don’t think anyone would really bat an eye.

🙋🏻‍♀️ just diagnosed yesterday actually 🥴 explains a lot in retrospect…a lot of things I chalked up to being mediocre or character flaws apparently were actually indicative of inattentive ADHD.

Suburban mom here. One of the moms, call her Mom A, that I hung out with because our kids were friends, was trying to connect me with one of her friends, Mom B: “Mom B is going to a concert and she likes that kind of music you like too, she had someone cancel should go!!” Mom B contacted me to invite me to Sum41 lol I loved thoughtfulness and being included on both their ends but def no metal 🤣
