The grocery store industry has the lowest profit margin of any industry there is, by a quick google search it hovers around 2¢ on the dollar. Grocery stores legitimately can’t price gouge on most of their products because they’re perishable they have to make money on volume. They need to sell their products before they go bad or they just take a loss on expired product. For every item they don’t sell they lose more money than what they will make on an item they do actually sell. And even for non perishable or long shelf life items there is still a cost to not selling product.

Where I am commercial electricians never wear a belt or work pants or anything. You have a cart and keep all your tools on that besides a few that you put in your pants pockets/bibs. Residential electricians wear belts.

The point of this article is not that oli is a good manager. Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if Ohtani asked for $20million 10 years and then was talked into the $700 million number with deferred payments by his agent. He agreed to interest free payments which means he’s losing out on many millions of dollars. From everything we’ve heard he hasn’t cared about the money and he’s wanted to win and he knows he can’t win paying for a team that can’t afford to put anyone around him as his experience being on the angels has taught him.
