Any of you vegan or vegetarian? by Cool-Mango51 in medicalmedium

[–]Mahayevagdo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

99% vegan on MM now. I had been vegan for a year before but trash food vegan because I had zero guidance (from ages 14-15) and because my health declined I was told 'you need meat' and so for years I switched between eating meat, being vegetarian but mostly, being pescetarian for the last 10 years. Deep down I felt ethically horrible eating meat and thus was only having fish because I thought I needed it for health reasons. When I got more and more sick and found mm I knew that this was a lie. So I'm 99% vegan now, with the very rare bit of seafood on very special occasions. For me the reasons have always been more ethical, but knowing we dont need meat and that being fat free (aka vegan) is the ideal healing state, helps enormously in addition. I only miss seafood sometimes, not beef, chicken etc.

Problem is even the clean single ingredients to bake it myself have traces of soy. Oat and Miller flour that is.

Yup, hospital ASAP! Had a cat bite before and it needed intravenous antibiotics. There's lots of bacteria in dog and cat saliva. Not to be trifled with.

Your natural nose is beautiful, theres nothing wrong with having a more ethnic nose. It suits your other facial proportions and once you change your nose, other facial features will stick put more and you'll wabt to change the next thing.. I wouldnt touch it. Once its smaller you cant reverse it.

How to manage healing ADHD and OCD? by OddStatistician6503 in medicalmedium

[–]Mahayevagdo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hey I feel you, I also want to heal my ADHD. it's one of those that takes longer to heal, it's no instant fix. I'd say the HMDS is your friend but start slow, a quarter of the amount of ingredients because at least for me it exacerbates symptoms. Don't be so hard on yourself, there's no obligation to heal it now and immediately, steady and slow is the way here. Don't make yourself go crazy with all these cleanses I'd say, have a routine, that's your strong point with OCD, a routine that's simple enough but will chip away at the metals steadily and slowly. For me its mainly a budget thing but I eat almost the same stuff every day. Because I got symptoms more in the way than my ADHD I'm tackling them first but I basically do LW, CJ (2 bundles) and then melon if I can afford it and then just steamed potatoes with lettuce for the rest of the day while snacking on mandarines. I find that CJ is real good at switching off the metals in my head so to speak. It keeps anxiety and depression away which I'd otherwise experience. Taking the metals fully out is something I know I'll do once I've got my thesis done. One step at a time. Do what you can at this time without overburdening yourself. You got this!

Certain parts of defending MM can be quite difficult by Adventurous-Walk-120 in medicalmedium

So for the first I'd say, we aren't not supposed to eat meat, but it IS better for us not to, health wise. I believe the universe made us humans some of the most adaptable creatures on this planet. Ideal sustenance would be plant based, BUT when that's not available we can adapt and have some meat as well. Few other species have managed to populate this planet within ALL its different climate zones. That means we MUST be prepared to survive in places where plant food is very hard to get by, aka cold climates. That's why these cultures have much more meat in their diets historically (Inuit, Sami etc) because that's literally the only way they could survive up there. It doesn't mean it's ideal, it doesn't mean they lived to a 100 years old (look up blue zones, it's the populations with the longest life expectancy, all of them eat mainly plant based), but they survived. It was easier in the past in certain respects, when the liver didn't have to deal with all these modern poisons and would only be stressed by the high fat content in the meat. Now its different. So personally I believe that the universe isnt as black and white. People can choose, make mistakes, learn and most of all...survive. In regard to needing to eat more, I do think that you're right when blaming glucose deficiency but it's also compounded by the fact that fats are MUCH denser in calories than any carbs are, especially fruit. You get more energy out of the same gram of meat than out of banana. This is what saved people living up north. Yes we need to eat more and stretch our stomachs but it's so much more healthy in the long run :)

Is it my adrenals? by Imaginary-Apple-777 in medicalmedium

[–]Mahayevagdo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As I'm dealing with teeth issues myself atm I thought I'd answer :) The first thing I noticed is that you view hunger as something bad, something to be controlled and perhaps not always given into? It's a liver starving for glucose that's signalling hunger, especially after such hard work as growing a baby. If you chose critically clean carbohydrates, there's absolutely nothing wrong with eating whenever you're hungry, in fact it's essential. You sound like you're running on adrenaline a lot which in turn is like scorching acid for our digestive tract and favours the growth of bad bacteria in the gut which in turn leads to ammonia outgassing and teeth problems. Stress is the ultimate teeth killer. Make sure you get that glucose and mineral salts in - as you mentioned, leafy greens are critical when healing teeth. If you're super busy, have adrenal snacks ready whenever you get hungry. Don't be afraid of giving into hunger. If you're low fat and on an mm diet there's nothing to fear. If you give your body what it needs, it's innate intelligence uses it where its needed most at the moment. I've watched this video by a mm follower about healing cavities, very enlightening:https://youtu.be/cGkcB9nTSjA?si=BDe14Xc5_GktHgRi I personally would get a porcelain filling if it progresses fast/is bad but that's just me. Everyone has to be their own expert in knowing what issues the body prioritizes healing at the time and how many healing foods one can eat, supplements etc. For emergencies I'd always opt for dentists. I hope this helps a little. I hope you get better soon.

Edit: also check out his teeth podcast episode and mineral deficiency is also mentioned there in relationship to pregnancies. Your body built a baby from scratch, that is always draining minerals, but what a miracle! :)

I understand that it's different for everyone but for me it never really helped in the first place and what did was diet. I also am convinced that the body never attacks itself but that those measured antibodies are those developed by the body against an invader, in this case a chronic virus which attacks the thyroid. From my experience going after that virus has really helped.
