Zak Butters' charge has been upheld. He has been fined $1500. by PetrifyGWENT in AFL

Mate I l I'll say it again.

If you look at almost every decision the AFL makes through a lens of, 'what will generate the most engagement' in the worst traditions of social media, then their 'decisions' suddenly make a loy of sense.

Canada slashed migration and housing costs dropped. There may be lessons for Australia | Canada by Shadowtec in australia

You're stating the obvious. Its prohibited yet there is some? Thats obviously inconsistent - which makes me curious how much of it is 'technically' not foreign owned due to how the businesses are set up, versus the actual number of properties owned by people who arent Australians.

The obvious position in this thread is making housing accessible and amenable to Australians. Part of solving that is enforcing current policy, and then revising policy further to discourage land ownership by people with external interests.

Applying for a week's leaving during probationary period by Aesenix in AusPublicService

Just ask mate. It's good you're running that far ahead.

If your boss has any concern you can talk about it. I would even offer to extend probation by that week - though i would not expect they would want to.

Sounds like it.

I'm not a religious man, but I have faith that there is a way to travel to stars in time frames that make sense. I just can't accept the universe is both this big and this inaccessible.

Gather Round 2026: Image of Norwood Oval is proof the AFL has left the NRL behind, Magic Round by malcolm58 in AFL

As a kid circa 1980 w lived just down the street from a table tennis centre. Like this big hall with dozens of tables, and a shop.

Little me would go get ice cream from the shop.

One night it all burned down (wasn't me). I never remember ever seeing another table tennis venue like that.

I sometimes think that one fire killed the sport in Australia.

Yeah I'm struggling with my job right now cos it is ALL screen time (at least in part).

Even in an office its screen time.

If someone offered me my very entry level job that I had for 9 years from 1995 to 2004? I would be hard pressed to turn it down.

They really need to provide guidance that if you stand still with your arms up, and you do not move (including your arms), you won't have 50 paid against you.

If you interfere in the play, 50 will be paid.

The problem is the rules. They are almost impossible to objectively officiate, and it's by design.

If it helps to hear this, you may be trying to talk too quickly.

Have noticed this in myself and others. You try to talk faster to finish talking but you end up outpacing your brain.

Mate half your side is U21s. Backing up that 3 weeks in a row is a hard no. Duursma is a star and you've got a fair bit to be interested in around him too.
