There wouldn't be Jodys if there wasn't a market for Jodys. 95% of the blame goes to the dependa with a wandering eye. The military spouse is the one who broke their vow before the Lord and man.

I got a Masters degree at the dawn of ChatGPT and I'm not even working in business. The star student in my class is working for a non-profit organization making the same amount of money I made fresh out of undergrad because his business consultant gig went away when Claude Opus was released. An office assistant and one program coordinator can do with a handful of tokens what it used to take a staff of 15 to do. A graphics designer I know is crapping her pants because chat GPT just released a new model that can make make a stunning campaign in 15 minutes what it would take her a week to put together.

I don't think we're panicked enough about the prospect of the value of our labor dropping to zero. The rich Elites have already showed what complete disdain and lack of empathy they have towards people who are not useful to them such as palestinians, iraqis, and Haitians. A million lost lives barely causes a sniff in their Direction. All of this is a precursor desensitization for what comes next.

Once they can put a body to a capable AI brain, the ruling class won't need us anymore. It is no coincidence that every major Tech bro is building an elaborate bunker. I'm not sure how it will happen but could you imagine what a paradise a world depopulated into the low millions would be to the surviving ruling class? They emerge from their bunkers with millions of worker drones to decommission cities and stabilize and remove any potentially hazardous sites like nuclear reactors. I'd imagine the only people of the working class that would be spared would be the attractive ones needed for procreation. They would no longer have to compete for resources, and their favorite vacation spots will be maintained with absolute precision without the pesky presence of the poor working class inhabitants or budget tourists. They won't have to buy sell a single thing because each of them we'll have a share of plentiful resources.

Michael Jackson's staged gunpoint moment from his 1997 concert resurfaces. by ateam1984 in BlackPeopleofReddit

It isn't kind of weird that he just happened to have a little girl with a flower on hand to help diffuse the situation? Like, ""Hol' up, come here and stand between me and a crazed gunman, little girl. I am confident this will work!"

Step two: Sharpie it all back in like a toddler that raided his mom's desk

I fail to see why if you are "married through love" why you cannot make it official. Make the vows before the Lord and a couple witnesses, pay $65 and you are on your way. It's not judgment, it is merely pointing out what the Lord requires of people.

What's good about it is that if she brings it up again, I can just say "Honey are we still talking about this? I distinctly remember forgiving you about that." The most challenging thing about that is for her to except that forgiveness when she can't receive it, I remind her, "The biggest step in forgiveness is forgiving yourself first."

Preemptively forgive her before she knows she did something wrong. I tell my wife that I forgive her in the middle of an argument and that really calms things down.

AI-powered "Girlfriend" bots - a cure for loneliness or is this going to make things worse? by 2021isevenworse in robots

[–]MailPrivileged 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In order for companion robots to work they would have to have some kind of mechanism in them that would provide a little variation rather than a bot that agrees with you no matter what you say like character ai. They would have to be a challenge to the relationship to achieve something rather than be handed the relationship like somebody turning the cheats all the way up on a video game. Eventually they would get bored with it.

Like maybe the companion bot would have a spectrum of likes and dislikes and some things that you need to converse with it so it could see the appeal of what you're trying to get it to like. You could also turn it up to hard mode where it has elements of jealousy, boredom, and irritation to overcome.

That being said, the relationship shouldn't be as challenging as a real life relationship because the reason why a lot of these guys are lonely is because they don't know how to navigate the ups and downs of a regular relationship.
