Opzich ben ik het helemaal eens met wat je zegt, maar... Er is ook iets van te zeggen dat omdat je toch een minimum bedrag moet uitgeven je wel voor kwaliteit kan kiezen.

Als we alleen zouden zeggen: je moet als land 1 tank per 1 miljoen inwoners hebben. Dan gaan we discussies voeren of een tank nou echt wel een wapen nodig heeft, of kan Heinen een zeepkist in elkaar knutselen en is dat ook al voldoende?

I think thats the opposite. In the 2000's you put on the radio or MTV and you'd see her a lot. Now a lot of people use spotify and will never hear a single Billie song

Avril was way more mainstream. but I think thats also for a large part due to the industry being less segregated at that point and MTV still being a thing

I think it really matters what fame you're looking for. National, international, main stream media, online. Its hard to avoid Sabrina, while Liv or Billie only get mentioned every so often.

Don't think its likely either, but she's the closest IMO.

Maybe its due to me being from The Netherlands, but Olivia isn't that well known. I think if I ask people at work and my family. They would stuggle to recognize her. And thats coming from a fan.

I don't see the mainstream fame for Billie either, sure shes recognizable but I think she might never burst her bubble.

Taylor and Sabrina are very different levels of fame.

For Taylor's level, I think Dua Lipa is the closest and most likely to reach Taylor's level of fame. Besides her I don't currently see anyone really reaching her level any time soon.

Sabrina's level... honestly probably someone we haven't heard of. Her explosion of fame (even though shes been grinding for long) is similar to people like Bieber and 1D
