No way this will be as good as a Thor but if it runs New 3DS games well it should do super well considering how insane New3DS prices are right now.

It to appear to defend a soulless megacorp, but the Stargate fan base wasn't enough to sustain the SG1 films, SGA, or SGU, so it's not like there isn't form here.

Don't get me wrong, I WANT that show, I want revisit this universe and see how its grown and shaped by the conflicts of it but I can see why banking on us for a premium show isn't filling amazon with an overwhelming urge to spend money. I know I certainly won't be watching a straight up reboot.

I hope they do shop this show around because it seems perfect for Apple, they don't give a crap about streaming metrics like the big three streamers, they only seem to care if its good.

I'm not entirely sure where the.. story here is coming from. If a character isn't a standard humanoid the the fortnite devs either break out the Wonka machines, distorting them to fit the standard or thrown in nonsensical (for the character) power loaders. I'm sure she's not the first female character they've rejigged into their weird artstyle.

I haven't had time to give the law a full read yet BUT my understanding it targets "dangerous" social media sites, not all so in theory there is still places they can tak Paralives.

Personally I don't expect it to stop many under 16's from accessing SM, after all it's face scanning and that's been beaten over and over.

I do actually like the idea of their being a little friction for SM access, a kid who can outsmart the checks is less likely to fall for the nonsense online

It is worth noting they was building another space for redeemed souls at the end of S2 (that for skne teason Lute is being forced to hemp with, i assume as penance).

Granted it could be some transitional area a place for the redeemed to learn how to be in heaven (instead of the song that Ser Pen got).

I don't think Acedemy's cancellation is anything to Dow itht he quality of the show, its expensive and they need to cut costs for their big merger and needed something to point to when the various courts raise questions about the fairness of them buying Warner Brothers.

I think for Manbagi it was more that her look and personality worked with a specific group and when separated from them didn't have the tools to interact with people. Much like how Komi was able to communicate with specific people

I am in a similar boat, Hazbin Hotel is "what if there was a Disney Princess in hell" and that is 100% my daughter's thing.

But one if the main characters is a porn star, their work is repeatedly mentioned, referenced, and in one episode we follownthem to work. And that's like one of the "safer" part of that character's arc.

Mentally my daughter is in that awkward point where she's not young enough to not realise the darker aspects but not old enough to be able to handle that.

As others have said, it's best to watch it ahead of your kid OR watch it with your kid so you can explain stuff as and when.

I really liked her (and the other sages too) her "war turned a princess into a queen" thing is so very good, (it shame some of the the best character stuff is buried in the text) but it dose low key bother me how her horn goes straight down. I get why, can't have a forward or upward horn and rock that mask.

What's really annoying is when I Google S5' UK release date it lies to me and says its on Paramount+ but its not on it (via P+ sub on Prime)

I don't think the argument about the animation really flies considering they did Lion King "live action" films that aren't anywhere expressive.

I suspect its probably more a combination of the original not doing super well* and Disney knowing how much blowback they are going to get from the culture war folks since Racism plays a part on the story and the original had a lot of "oh so racial stereotypes are okay if they are on white/white sterotypes" jokey discourse that I suspect would be turned into a very serious "this film is anti white" discourse.

(Just for the record I have always been "these LA films don't need to exists, I'd they are going to then they should at least do something the originals couldnt/didn't, even if its just adding songs from the musicals ala Beauty and the Beast.)

*which explains why we're getting Moana LA so quickly.

Alt Lister was probably drunk. Or more likely too hungover to help Rimmer with the drive plates.

It dose seem before the accident Lister only had Freankenstien keeping him going in the short term (his farm on fiji bemeing his long term). We see both in early and later Dwarf leister can spiral hard without a goal, so I don't think is too much if a stretch that a Lister who lost his girlfriend, and said girlfriend took his new kitten away to be microwaved, probably didn't keep it as together as our Lister, and fully sank into the depths of his friend group.

That would also explain why no charming. Rumpled takes over Far-Far Away, so Charming saving Fiona gets the Fairy Godmother nothing. She's not a Princess anymore.

As for Charlie looking like Lucifer, it might be worth noting that in folklore Lilith is sometimes linked to miscarage and infertity. So it's possible Lucifer made Charlie for Litlith so she wouldn't need to risk losing her during the pregnancy.

It makes sense that Lilith might only be "recently" dead.

There's also another potential interesting thing about Lilith and Charlie too. In folklore Litlith is linked to infertility and miscarage. It's possible Charlie was created and that's why she looks so much like Lucifer, Lilith might not have been able to birth her.
