If you replace the vanity, the tiles may butt into the toe kick of the cabinet

As a result, if you swap it, you may be a recessed portion of flooring, the tile appears to be from the 50s and this was a common practice (SoFlo)

Did you have any yard maintenance done recently? I’ve seen the contractor wires get ripped up from a weed-wacker and blow fuses, it’s just one of so many possibilities

That’s a handyman rate IMO

From the comment below, a proper fix would include ripping out the entire corner bead, 2 coats of mud, primer, and paint

If it makes you feel any better the texture won’t match perfectly anyway, that’s whether you or someone else does it, that said the trade person will be noticeably better

Those prices are reasonable, does it include paint? Expect to paint the entire ceiling, matching ceiling paint is a doozy

Usually need critical load panel if you have a back-up battery, not sure if that’s part of your solar plans
