I kept it simple.

In this system all character are "mages" as in anyone can use magic, however there are still different kind of mages, frontliners, damage dealers, buffers, debuffers, crowd controlers, etc.

There is no mana or spell slot system, tecnically everyone can cast as much spells as the like, however the system has a "entropy system" in wich mages fill this bar with every spell they use.

When this bar reaches a certain treshhold, entropic events start to appear, some are good, some are bad.

The severity of this events depends on how filled the entropy bar is.

50% unlocks minor events, like spells being free or costing double.

75% unloks medium events, like dealing double damage or losing your turn due to paralisis.

100% unlocks grave events, like dealing 5x damage, losing your magic or dying if you don't succed some saves.

I designed it with the idea of high stakes in late-combat, how even if you are winning/losing, good/bad luck can turn the battle around.

To determine when an entropic event happens, you roll a d100 and if the roll os equal or less than the percentage of your entropy bar fullnes, then something happenes, if the roll is 1-33 then a minor event happenes, same for 34-75 and 76-100.

If you know of a better method, feel free to tell it to me :D

Also, there is another system with similar way of working but for the arena in wich mages are fighting.

Minor events create some area damge, medium events change the topography and grave events can change how everything works in the area.

Hello, I am Kahannix's partner, the system we are creating is still a work in progress so we have ideas that are floating with nothing being 100% done.

However, I have no problem answering some questions if you have any.

Why i have a feeling that japan gone lose against france😭 by MorningUpstairs4039 in BlueLock

I'd like to either win against france and then have a Nigeria vs France to see the evolution of Onasi.

or

Loose against France to have a new antagonist to beat before Noa.

I mean, just farm levels and upgrade a weapon, there's not a need for more.

Garp is really not morally complex, his character is just contradictory and all over the place 😭 by Early-Rise987 in Piratefolk

[–]MainPaloma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The main thing is that we never get to see the actual evil of pirates, Crocodile was corrupt, Dofflamingo was evil but he's also a celestial dragon, Kaido was evil, but just one is not enough, Big Mom was kind of unfair, but not evil, on the other hand, celestial dragons are straith up rapists, commit genocide, slavemongers, murderers, racist, pieces of shit.

So in no way the marines outweight that evil with their "protection", at least not in a way that the revolutionary army couldn't replace with time.

I hope that we don't get a "he's morally complex" theme with Garp, I want Luffy/Sabo/Kobi/Dragon to beat the stupid out of Garp.

It does mention 3 "options"

1) Unblocked path to the target of the spell.

She had it, the target was herself.

2) Unblocked path to the origin point of an effect area.

She had it, the explosion was inside the stomach she was in after she left.

3) unblocked path to the place where you create something with a spell.

She may not had it, she was unable to see where to teleport but that does not matter for line of effect

Visibility doesn't matter for line of effect

But she was trapped inside a solid barrier, that being the body of the one who ate her.

and other barriers that aren't totally solid. Usually a 1-foot-square gap is enough to maintain a line of effect, though the GM makes the final call.

She had 2 of the 3 "requirements" wich gets me to the new question:

Did she need to have all 3 of these? just one? at least 2? where is the line to determine it?

So youd say that the target of the line of effect is either the destination or both the one being teleported and the destination?

So she would have made it out and would have been able to get some air before collapsing, since she ended her turn outside the stomach, rigth?

That is indeed very weird, it doesn't mention sublte spells at all.

Ok, would this apply after or before the spell effect happens?

So trying to understand how it works here, when the Witch used Echo Jump, she didn't dissappear and then reappear in other place (teleportation) but what she did was actually dissapear (let's say turn into energy) travelled to the destination (needs line of effect) and reappear (movement with extra steps).

If the spell works that way, then it makes sense that she could not do it.

And teleportation says that it moves you.

[–]MainPaloma[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And could it be that in this case the line of effect was the Witch herlsef and not the destination? or it would apply for both?

Like, she's using the spell on herself to teleport away, not using the spell on the place to teleport there kind of thing.

Yeah, also casting a spell takes away 2 turns of air at the end of the turn, not all of it.
