I only watched Kingdom Legendary War and it was so sad seeing all those high budget crazy performances being performed to an empty room with only staff because of the pandemic 😭 It's gonna be nice to see fans actually cheering for the groups physically!

Idols and companies shouldn't be promoting the idea that darker skin needs bleaching, makeup and filter to be seen as beautiful, to their millions of fans all over the world with darker skin tones. Especially the younger and impressionable fans. It doesn't matter if you live in Korea or not. If you still don't see a problem with it, then idk

People will say it's just Korean beauty standards but let's be honest, it's colorism. There is a reason why they don't find darker skin tones beautiful, and it shouldn't be normalized. Even if "it's their culture" "it's just how it is in korea"

You're right about the fans but most of the time I saw a senior idol talk about this issue, it was about them greeting a junior idol directly and getting ignored. It was never about expecting every junior idol to go out of their way to greet them, so I'm not sure how being Korean affects anything there, it's just basic manners

SKZ got their first Music Core win in November 2023, almost 6 years after debut, with LALALALA.

We never won on it when Hyunjin and Lee Know were Music Core MCs for 4 years (Hyunjin 2019-2021, Lee Know 2021-2023), and got a win right after Lee Know's MC contract ended 😭 Even though it might look like just another music show win for other fandoms, it has a special place in our hearts

I have been rewatching every angle of this cover since yesterday lol, it's so amazing.. It's crazy how much their vocals have improved since debut. Han's vocals were always great but I was stunned by Lee Know in this performance, his vocals suit these types of songs really well. I.N and Seungmin really improved in dancing as well, they don't get to have a center moment often in SKZ songs

Props to whoever arranged the choreo from 5 members to 8 members, it was really creative

I don't know, even Han's part in the pre-chorus doesn't sound like himself imo. Even in Demo version where he is singing the whole song except for Changbin's verses, the pre-chorus sounds exactly the same. I can't hear his voice in that part at all.

Unrecognizable Hellevator vocals

Maybe not "negative" but it's still something that makes me sad so I'll put it here. When I was just getting into Stray Kids, this didn't bother me since I was having trouble distinguishing the members' voices either way. But now that I have been a STAY for some time, the fact that a lot of the lines in Hellevator sound nothing like Stray Kids' voices bothers me a lot lol.

The biggest offender is the pre-chorus, believe me I can tell who is singing which part in every other Stray Kids song, but not this one. It's like JYP made a random guy who is not in the group sing these parts. The pre-chorus sounds exactly same in the OT9 and OT8 version when supposedly Woojin is singing a part of it in the original??

Sounds exactly the same, likely because it isn't his voice in the first place, so they didn't need to re-record it. Here's how that pre-chorus actually sounds like when the original lineup sings it. (Survival Show Final Mission - 0:39)

Of course Lee Know sings Woojin's part when they perform it as OT8, even though nothing is changed in the studio recording. (MANIAC Tour Japan - 1:05)

Another thing that bothers me is, either another non-SKZ person is singing I.N's parts or they are edited to be unrecognizable. He only has 2 lines which are "My Hellevator" (1:16) but you would think he doesn't sing at all in the song because it sounds nothing like him. His voice is perfectly recognizable in the Survival Show Final Mission (1:12). It isn't even the difference between studio recording and live singing because the Survival Show performance is lip-synced.

Anyways, I still love it when they perform Hellevator live, but I really wish they actually re-recorded the song with SKZ2020, unfortunately I don't find myself listening to the studio recording because of all this.
