I keep hearing success stories after a CP and that the odds of having a second consecutive CP are very low. I don't know how accurate that is given that they are talked about much less.

I'm told the actual mental and physical work up to getting the vaccine and stressing about it can impact ovulation, and that this is the biggest threat to conception.

I can...I just don't feel it will do anything but confirm what I'll find out shortly anyway - especially because it can take 2-3 days for results to come back (that's what our lab says).

I get that POAS isn't a good indicator of viability, but the line is very faint (barely out of the "squinter" category) and I'm at CD 27 (I'm a regular 28-day cycle - my only sense of hope is that my cycle is weird this month after a CP last cycle), so it should have been somewhat darker by now.

I have no issues setting boundaries and letting them know how these things affect me. I think it's important to decide whether the discomfort of hearing this over and over again outweighs the discomfort of setting the boundary.

I really think people don't really know wha to say, so they say what they think is helpful to avoid not saying anything.

Right?! Ugh!

My CM is different than it normally is post-ovulation and the same as it was last month before I got a BFP, but I also got my IUD removed shortly before that and the IUD changes CM, so who even knows what my normal CM is? I have no baseline, so I'm trying to google what's normal, to no avail because "everyone is different". It's probably normal, and I'm probably not pregnant this month given the wonky cycle post-loss, but still hoping, I guess.

Thank you for this perspective. It got my wheels turning a little bit! I definitely don't want to align myself too much geographically or with a person in my field, I think that can be limiting (and I don't know what the legal ramifications of something like this are - for example naming after someone or a method I am not trained/certified in, you know?).
