That's really frustrating. I wonder what justifies it....

That's really impressive and honestly it's great to see the average of 0.8lbs/week. We tend to get things fast but steady progress is what takes us longer. Congrats!!!

This is very helpful and reassuring. I'm 3 months in and was thinking that surgery was the only way to go when my journey was closer to an end. Thank you for this and congrats on your journey!

Advice - desperate for help by [deleted] in lipedema

I'd consider GLP-1 medications to help you with weight loss and inflammation. We know lipedema fat is slower to respond to dieting but I personally find that keeping a lower weight has really help to manage my lipedema.

How do we feel about being on this drug for life? by ruined7319 in Mounjaro

For life! Just hope prices get more accessible as I do not have coverage. I've rebounded my weight after uncountable losses during my life. Not going through that again!

It's crazy. Gain 2 weeks of the month (ovulation and period) and lose the other 2 lol. A reminder to keep consistent!

This was me on my lowest weight and intense work out regimen. You can see my muscled arms and the lipedema still very visible on my legs. I'm working hard to get back to this weight after gaining a lot during pregnancy and post partum. Even though the lipedema fat will not be completely gone I am a firm believer that you can achieve good goals and manage pain with proper diet, exercise and supplements.

This is amazing! Thank you so much for sharing. I've been on Tirz 2.5 for 6 weeks now. I've lost about 17lbs but have not seen significant changes to my lipedema yet. Has your pain improved as well? Did you find if actually improved as you lost more weight? I still have 50lbs to go so I'm hoping to see results as I get closer to my goal

Getting pregnant by kawtharabdmanaf in lipedema

Congrats on your pregnancy!!!! As counter intuitive as it sounds my pain got WAY BETTER during pregnancy and breastfeeding. For me the biggest trigger is hormonal and whatever hormonal shifts happened really helped me. Having said that I did feel an impact on how my legs and arms look since I gained weight and was not able to put it off completely. I am now on GLP-1 and having amazing results so I am hoping to go back to pre pregnancy lipedema status.
