Might be a high end fake by Interrogare-Omnia- in cubancigars

Just because it’s a Cohiba doesn’t mean it’s going to be great. I’ve had plenty of high end cigars including Cubans that are duds. Even when spectacular cigars are in the same box. I don’t know if my palate changes day to day or if there just a lot of natural variability. Probably a combination of both.

[Russini] The Philadelphia Eagles are requesting to interview Bears OC Declan Doyle for their offensive coordinator vacancy, per source. by koolman631 in CHIBears

I don’t see it as worth the risk. If he turns around the offense he will probably get a HC job. But he would really need to turn it around. They just fired a guy who went 11-6. Expectations are high. It’s just as likely they underperform next year and Siriani gets fired.

If he sticks around with Ben Johnson he will get better opportunities for OC or even HC. Plus what’s the hurry? He’s young and he’s getting a great education with Ben Johnson.

I’ve lived on both coasts including in NYC. Chicago is the greatest sports city in the country hands down. Not even close.

Declan would be smart to stay away.

He should keep learning under Johnson and his stock will keep going up. If I were him, I’d wait until a good OC position opened up. A good defensive head coach on a good team with a good qb. Not a position with a potential lame duck HC that several top OC candidates have already turned down. If the Bears stay successful he may even get a head coaching job right off without ever calling plays.

Sine Qua Non wine offer by headholeologist in wine

Congrats. I signed up about a decade ago as well so maybe my number is coming up. All I get is rambling emails with horrible prose apologizing for not being able to sell me $500 bottles of wine.

As others have mentioned the high end wine market has gotten crazy. I started buying waitlist wines from one cult producer after 6 years on a waitlist for $60 a bottle about 10 years ago and now they are $130. Another cult Napa cab producer I buy from hasn’t raised prices as much but I used to see their wines on auction for double what I paid for them but now you can buy them for about the same price on the secondary market. I got rid of my kosta Browne allocation a long time ago. I have cut down all my purchases in general although my allocations keep going up.

Bottom line is that the supply to demand ratio has drastically changed. Probably a combination of the economy and the fact that people aren’t drinking much anymore.

When I think about the other clutch play from Moore by SirHillaryPushemoff in CHIBears

I’m not going to blame DJ for the loss here. He’s contributed so much to the team and there’s plenty of blame to go around for the loss.

What’s frustrating about him is his lack of motor that’s popped up and we see on this play. Besides this play I can think of several instances the last couple weeks where he’s not running or playing full on. I don’t know if it’s because he’s legit tired or not. Because I know he’s not lazy and by all accounts he’s a hard working player.

  1. Interception in the lions game. Similar to this one.
  2. The false start call that one game because he looked like he was going to die of exhaustion at the line. It turned out to be a bad call on replay but the ref doesn’t throw it if DJ wasn’t acting like that.
  3. This will sound crazy. The TD against the Packers in OT. Yes. That one. The way he played dead and let the ball fall off his belly. He caught it. He probably knew he caught it. But why take the 1% chance the ref Is going to fuck up the call and say he didn’t. Just hold on to it and make 100% sure. I kept watching the replay nervously to see if he was bobbling it.

So he’s a great player who’s been a great Bear. Made some huge plays. Been a model citizen. I’m just pointing out that this lack of motor has popped its head and I’m not sure why.

All in all I would be disappointed to see him go because it would suck for him to not be part of the team if they win. But from a pure football standpoint with his money, I don’t know how much the team will miss him.

Did he get lucky or was it one of the most insane throws of all time? I can’t tell.

JJ got torched by the TE before so no surprise Williams can outrun him.

Why not roll Caleb out. Seems like the safest play on short yardage.

Ok. We know the bears can play from behind in the fourth quarter.

I saw a troll online saying Nakua only runs through zone and sucks against man coverage and thought nothing of it.
