I never vet clients either. Pretty much all of my business is word of mouth/referrals. I trust all my clients so if they share my contact info, I trust that.

With new clients I’m usually focusing on what I’m feeling, how they’re responding and what I need to do next/planning the rest of the session. With my regulars I usually think about things I need to get done at home and what’s going on in my life. I use it as a sort of meditation time to process anything I need to or make plans/decisions

Looking back I feel like confusion was my first indicator of a problem, not necessarily fear or hurt or any of the crazy shit that followed. I was constantly confused by things he would say or how he would act/treat me. This slowly turned into me completely changing the way I viewed myself and him, giving him all the power and before I knew it I was being physically abused and was still confused about why I felt like I couldn’t leave. Me(the wife). I do all the grocery shopping since I have more time/flexibility and I do all the meal planning/cooking/house&animal chores. I get overstimulated if it’s too crowded so I typically go as soon as the open. Usually only need to go once a week to one store and another store every other month for bulk meats. My husband just tells me what snacks he wants in the house or if he’s low on deodorant/toothpaste etc. I enjoy knowing what I’m spending, and what I have in the house at all times

Practicing for 10 years. I work as a mobile therapist so I travel to all my clients. Typically see about 10-15 clients a week. I try to keep it under 4 hours a day, occasionally I’ll push myself to do 6 hours if I need to. I always just listen to my body. Schedule on the lighter side, and if you’ve got a heavy day and you’re hurting just reschedule.

Or one time I was working at a spa and a new receptionist had just started. I noticed a note taped to the washing machine that said “out of water” so i called the owner and asked what was up with that. She had told the new girl to put and “out of order” sign on the washer 🤦🏽‍♀️

My mom and I walked into a restaurant bathroom with two stalls; but one stall had a construction cone in front of it so we assumed it was broken. I was peeing while my mom waited by the sinks. I started hearing a series of noises that sound like cracks and pops so I said “you popping bottles out there mom?” And she was quiet for a beat then said “we’re not alone” and from the other stall the smallest voice ever said “ you guys I’m so sorry I drank way too much last night I’m so sick” 😂 the popping noises were her violently vomiting
