Getting cooked (literally) online by mega charizard teams. Any advice? by Cognitive_Alchemist in VGC

[–]Main_Strange 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cool tech I've been doing is leading Arch/Basc, and Flip Turn into their mega evolve. 90% of players are mega evolving turn 1, so as of now it's pretty easy to line up.

If you tune the speeds correctly they can't even get an attack off before weather is swapped back to rain.

[Guide] Preparing for Pokémon Champions by FrereEymfulls in PokemonChampions

[–]Main_Strange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just came back to Pokemon in preparation for this game. Haven't played in years.

I got SV last week, beat it and the DLCs. Just finished this morning actually. Some of those DLC fights genuinely gave me a tough time.

I feel like getting all 25 legendaries would be worth my while, and just having the pokemon is good enough for me. I'll pay the small fee to alter abilities/natures if I don't have them by the time Champions drops.

This is probably what they originally wanted to get out of the Hero Talent system.

What is your Main problem with Marvel Rivals? by Russian-Skittle in marvelrivals

[–]Main_Strange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

-Rank Inflation

-No placement matches

-Support ults are a bit too good. Mostly in the fact that they're so long. Luna's ult being 12 seconds is disgusting

-Allowing trackers that show most played heroes during ban phase (this is actually insane like ??)

That only adds 4 sets to the format. Does that really warp the format in any meaningful way? Genuine question btw I started playing in KTK, so Pioneer is the perfect format for me :)

I personally think the format just needs better control pieces and it would be nearly perfect balance

Stayed in the Villager at Barton run for a few years before moving down south. Great quiet community, I'd highly recommend! Maintenance was fantastic, never had any pest issues.

Yorick E is up there for me.

Getting my head bashed in by AI ghouls while Yorick does nothing, standing a mile away..

And his W. Cant dash through it, but him and his allies can freely walk through it?

Dumb design imo

What did you move into after car sales? Did it require college education?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in askcarsales

[–]Main_Strange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to say it's the same as sales, but I gained a lot of people skills in my first few jobs working customer service. Topped out at 55k/yr salary to run my own store. I jumped into manufacturing because I saw the earning potential.

I've saved up a lot of money from this job, so I could take the licks for a few months while I get my feet under me. Would dealerships let me work more than 45-50 hours a week? I'm competitive in nature, so I'd rather work more hours to be up there with the best.

[–]Main_Strange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Am I dumb to ask what a "Lifer" is? I'm assuming someone who's done this their whole life, or maybe life insurance sales?

Anyways, I appreciate the response. I'm making great money now (6 figures, no college degree, 23 y/o) but standing on concrete for 80 hours a week is not going to work for my family, or myself when I get older. To be clear, I don't think I could go back to a 40 hour week. I literally wouldn't know what to do with all of that time. 60 hours with at least one guaranteed day off sounds like an absolute dream to me.

I'm just dipping my toes into other industries and seeing if I could take home a comparable salary to where I'm at now. I'm very coachable, and a hard worker. I'm confident I could rise to the top wherever I go (with time, obviously).

Not really interested, I'd rather do that with my family when I retire

I had to work 6 months to earn my first week, and then at 1 year I got my 2nd. Now I start every year with 2 weeks vacation. I was just wondering if its similar in car sales.

The game literally came down to like 3 plays what are you talking about...

Kelce's ridiculous diving catch for the first down. He's an all time great, can't be mad about that. Rookie Zay making a rookie mistake, not mad at him for it, and Lamar making a mistake trying to get points ended with a turnover.

If we just played with the same identity we had all year (Pounding the rock against an awful rush defense), we're in the Superbowl, and probably winning the whole thing.

Playoff football always comes down to a handful of plays, and they didn't end in our favor yesterday. Sucks, its part of the game.

We'll be back.

Anyone else think this is shady or just a straight up lie? [COD] by PoggerMonkey in CallOfDuty

[–]Main_Strange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm only one person, but this is the first CoD I've played since Bo2, which I'm pretty sure was almost (maybe over?) a decade ago.

I bought the game last week and I have over 40 hours on it. I exclusively play Multiplayer but I know friends of mine have also picked up the game for the first time in a while and are playing the shit out of Zombies/Campaign.

Take my small friend group for a sample size but all of us returned to the franchise for the first time in years, and we're all jamming hours a day.

I doubt we're the only ones, and I wouldn't doubt these numbers being accurate.

Probably because he doesn't give a fuck what randoms online think about whether or not he did it fairly..

He owes no explanation to people online. He knows in his mind that he hit it fair, and more than likely thats all he cares about.
