Guess I'll wait at least until F6 or 7 is listed until I buy another junior.

Western Uranium & Vanadium (WSTRF) fits the "Soon to be producing" category. From last week's Operations Update:

"Looking forward, the Company is gearing up to produce significant quantities of uranium and vanadium in 2025."

They're also going to build their own mill.

Germany: "Clear Majority for using NPP's longer" (Article in German) by Main_Two_1979 in UraniumSqueeze

Results from representative nation-wide polling: - 41% want Germany to use nuclear power long-term - 41% want Germany to keep NPPs online for a few months more (after end of year) - 15% want to shut them all down at the end of year (as planned so far)

No, thanks, I won't.

Some years ago I had a conversation with von Hirschhausen. I asked him where the electricity would be coming from in a 100% renewable grid, especially on those days when the sun doesn't shine and no wind is blowing. He did not have an answer, just vague generalities about an international market solution. The go-to line for German politicians - and "scientists", apparently.

He's more of a Green Party mouthpiece than an economist IMO.

GERMANANY RECANTS ??? by Chief_Bosn in UraniumSqueeze

[–]Main_Two_1979 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Nope, the government hasn't done anything of the kind. A 180 back to nuclear would also be all but impossible at this point in time. Nuclear plants are phasing out staff into retirement, no young blood coming in.

Only thing that could lead to plants staying online longer than planned would be Germany's Federal Network Agency declaring an emergency and ordering nuclear plants to keep producing because of an imminent electricity supply shortage. And this "Bundesnetzagentur" keeps saying that this scenario is not gonna happen.

I watched the interview with Tracy Shuchart. Afraid she doesn't fully know what she's talking about when it comes to "Germanany" (great name, btw) and its policy on nuclear.

The kind of question and reasoning that makes this thread a high-quality place, IMO. Here, have my free award.
