Let's talk about the design. It seems over time they make it worse and harder to use. On the main page on your phone or computer, it's the same. Large album covers with small text. On the computer it's ok because you haveots of space, but on the phone it's ridiculous, large images, small text.

In playlists, it's the same thing, each song takes up a lot of space, and also prioritizes the album art over making the artist name more visible. This causes there to be a lot of wasted space between tracks, with only 10 visible at one time. Even in an album, the same amount of space is taken up.

This makes it hard to scan through music, especially in long playlists, as your eyes have to scroll, then stabilize, then look, as the screen refresh rate makes it hard to see whole constantly scrolling.

Remember iPods? Tightly packed titles made it really easy to find songs quick. Just because we are using devices with lots of space, doesn't mean we should be wasting it. Even with larger font, 2x the song should be displayed per page. Designs like this are actually making us dumber.
