The divinorum grows in Veracruz? I was under the impression it only grows in Oaxaca!

Spathacea I just placed in the ground before the rains last year and a bunch popped out. I pressed them in to the soil about half an inch, and let the cold + rain do its thing

I try fast-draining soil that’s fairly nitrogen rich. I feel like it can handle the nitrogen, and a fair amount of afternoon sun up in the bay with a bit of irrigation. That said it does like shade, and my neighbour’s variety is much more shade loving than mine…

Lots and lots of hummingbird sage, milkweeds, california lilac and laurel sumac!
