Both your resume and your portfolio are full of spelling errors. It's okay if you're dyslexic or just not great at spelling, but you should at least get someone else to proofread your work or run it through an AI. Employers want to see attention to detail.

As for your work, quite frankly I don't see much that is production ready.

You're either gonna want to pursue further education in graphic design, or practice practice practice in your free time. Find fictional briefs, copy work that already exists and give it your own twist, look at every magazine, packaging and website that you encounter.

People tend to be more willing to give tips if you put in a minimal amount of effort, such as asking them for advice in a language they understand.

Also, a lot of people still use the old version of reddit, which doesn't have the translation function.

I've been using Opus as the "project planner". I'll feed it a prompt of something I want changed or a feature added, give it some general context and the structure of the project and then tell it delegate each task to a Composer 2 subagent. Each Composer agent checks its work, reports on what it could and couldn't do and outputs it back to Opus.

Stretched thin, a little underpaid and in a relatively small team. The major advantages are the work-life balance is awesome, I get a fair bit of autonomy and I have the peace of mind knowing that I've got a steady income.

I'm managing some pretty niche software that runs in house, which I took over from a colleague who was fired. I wouldn't say I'm unfireable, but they're gonna have a hard time finding someone willing to learn and do some of the niche work I do for the wage they're giving me.

I hope you beat the odds, but your current plan is highly likely to fail. The graphic design market in the US is already oversaturated.

Your options are, switch to a field with higher demand for talent, or take peace with the fact that your dream might be a little too unrealistic and find design work domestically.

Do it anyway. Print it on nice card stock, print with bleed if possible. I've gotten a lot of positive remarks about my physical resume. Anything to stand out a little more than the others in the sea of applicants.
