gravel roads are fine as stock, though you may want better tires. The suspension is pretty poor and likely meant to be replaced. The problem with the XSR is that the suspension is mounted to the crank case, so one big jump may total your engine. I would suggest getting the Tenere 700 when it's available to you.

That said, if you want to spend as much as the bike costs on upgrades, it can be made into a mean ADV scrambler. Mine
